I think paying real money (or making real money) from virtual gaming takes the fun out of it. That is what work is for. This is supposed to be just for fun - otherwise we'd take it too seriously. :)

 

Sounds like these people need to get a real job and stop trying to make a profit by spoiling other people's fun.

You are supposed to edit it yourself if you find something wrong. If someone enters an incorrect amount (that is what it sounds like) we are supposed to correct it. There are too many items for the staff there to correct themselves. So you should always check things since it might have been a while since a person updated it. You can usually find the items cheaper, but it is usually in the correct range. I know there are some 100K+ items that don't have a price listed because no one has reported one (the One Hundred Dubloon Coin is one), so it probably is less accurate when above prices the shop wiz can handle.

BTW, I don't care for slapstick. Unfortunately, that is all that has been posted. Can some people (who actually want the avatar/Siggy post some non-slapstick? Sorry guys.

That was a good one. It reminded me of a t-shirt I saw in Israel. On it was a picture of Natanyahu (yes, it was some years ago now - he was the leader of Israel about 8 years ago if you don't know) and a Native American Indian chief (I forget which one) sitting next to one another and the Chief is telling Natanyahu "Let me tell you something about trading land for peace."

 

So I guess that was my addition to this. :)

Yes, tell us how to do the palate transparency - perhaps I'll find an equivalent in Paint Shop Pro.

I like that it is small, lightweight, and has a wide screen. Otherwise it is a pretty standard laptop...and inexpensive as laptops go.

 

And I am a computer geek - or at least was. I worked in computer technical support (hardware and software, laptops and desktops in the corporate environment) and Information Security (Firewalls, Anti-virus, Virtual Private Networks, etc.) for 6 years, before I became disabled.

I think I mentioned this elsewhere, but in order for Google to list our topics on their search engine they probably have to log into the forums and create links and all. I imagine they email the links back to their account? Maybe? Personally, I perfer closed forums where outsiders can't read our posts - but that is just my preference.

My pet just got Shaky Flakes from the Wheel of Excitment. I've heard that sometimes it will give out a certain disease to multiple people like in an epidemic. Just in case I thought you'd like to know in case others do and you were holding on to Shaky Flaky cream to sell.

I'm listening to the movie "A Knight's Tale" in the background on my computer - the dance scene.

It took me a while too. I kept a list of what needed to be done when open next to it and was really careful, but it took maybe 10 or 20 minutes (maybe more, I just remember that it seemed like a long time). Maybe close your browser and come back another time - maybe something isn't quite right with out it loaded into the browser or something. I hope you can get past this part.

I had to go look this up to know what you were all talking about. I'm guessing that Wii is Nintendo's new game machine like PS3 is Sony's. Is that correct? I hope you have lots of fun!! We have a PS2 somewhere (not sure where), but I was never very good with those type games. I played Harvest Moon for a while, but then it got boring after a few endings. I don't think we've played with it for a couple years and now we don't have a TV, so I guess we won't.

 

But, anyway, do have fun!!

BTW, the dark area where I placed the chinese gliph was there in the original photo. I thought it looked a bit strange without something there. :)

I'm not so sure about the avatar. The picture looks a bit violent to me which turns me off. I've never cared for the glow around a font; it just looks unprofessional to me. I do like the boarder around it though - very nice. I also like the clear crisp lines in the picture; it can be hard to find such a detailed picture that works well at that size. It also doesn't go with the signature very well. I mean they don't necessarily look like a true "set".

 

The signature - Awesome!!! 8/10. Sorry I grade tough. I wouldn't rate the one I made for myself any higher than that (6.5-7.0 probably). I love the right 3/4 of it. It is perfect, except maybe the aqua color on the far right, which I don't think is quite balanced enough elsewhere in the image. The face to the far left doesn't quite seem like it fits to me. I like the idea, but something doesn't "feel" right. I do like that the image is an "up close" one - if you know what I mean - I mean it isn't something "far away" like a landscape or the other side of a room. I think a face would be perfect. Perhaps you find one of him that has a little of that color on the far right side in it? Don't know if that is possible. And I must also agree that the white line across the bottom and the color being darker/clearer/whatever is not quite right. My first impression when I saw it was that your image was perfect, buy that line was keeping me from saying it. Again I like the concept, but something doesn't quite seem right. But even without any changes to the whole image I'd still say it is awsome!!

 

Anyway, I think you do great work! Please don't take the comments as negative - just basic constructive criticism. Goodness, I do hate to think what you'll say of mine after all this. LOL! Oh, I'm sure I'll like to hear it anyway. I know mine isn't that great, but it was fun. :) I figure I just might get better in time. I have a lot to learn.

Oh my, I was completely wrong. Sorry about that! I had to go to the neoboards to figure out what you were talking about. I don't ever go there. I happened in there sometime around when I first got an account a few months ago, but it seemed like everyone was so childish no matter what thread I looked at. Oh well.

Yes, that is right. I was replying to two different things that is why my reply has a space between the two differnet lines. Otherwise I would have written them on the same line.

I like Oreos, but not a lot. I love homemade chocolate chip cookies - so I guess my vote goes there. I also like sugar cookies.
