    Mine weren't worth that much .... 200np and 350np, the other was only worth about 1 np though. :) I didn't sell them though; I just stuck them in my SDB.

     

    But yes, both of those pets were much older than the one that got the 1np item.

    Unfortunately things like this give me a headache. I skip past posts like this to get it off my screen as fast as possible. I block ads for the same reason. No offence to people who use moving/flashing ones like this at all - I just can't handle it. Just FYI. There might be other people out there like me. I have no comments on content as I can't look at it long enough to really see it.

    Sad Films

    I guess my all time favorite sad film is "Running on Empty". It is an early 80s film I think, but it is about a couple who in the late 60s were involved with protests and blew up a building, but they didn't know there was someone inside. So they were on the run from the law for murder because they didn't want to go to prison and be separated from their small children. They decided to turn themselves in after their children grew up. At the time of the movie the oldest is ready to graduate high school and is an excellent musician and is encouraged by his teachers to apply to Julliard (famous music school). He does and is accepted and also falls in love with a girl. In the end his parents are found out and so they have to "disappear" again, but, well, I won't spoil it, but it is the coming of age decisions between home and growing up, but in this case if he goes to Julliard and all he won't see his family again as they are still on the run with his younger brother. It is very sad as the family is very close.

     

    Schindler's List is one too. I can't think of any others at the moment.

    The red ones are supposed to increase neopoints in games, but that hasn't happened yet for me. It seems the more I read what people say about it around the internet the more I realize that they are all guessing. No one actually seems to know for sure.

     

    One thing I have noticed is that I haven't gotten any negative random events in the last two weeks (since buying the beads). Possibly just a coincidence though. I tend to get random events somewhat often (probably every 20 min), but then I purposefully (sp?) do things that create a lot of site hits.

    confuciousnz, They increase your np on games sometimes, increase your random events and sometimes lower your prices in the shops. The more beads you have the more these things happen. But each bead is about 300k presently and 12 can be purchased (the other four are apparently only obtainable through getting and referring people to the mobile service). So that is awfully expensive.

     

    I have two beads and while I may have had an extra random event or two (who can really tell that?) the other two things haven't happened at all in two weeks. So I'm thinking the effects won't pay off the price of the beads for a long time, if ever. It seems a poorly planned out idea to me.

     

    I was just wondering if any of you all have had any experience with it and had a personal opinion. What I seem to see across the internet is that a few people are happy enough with the effects relative to cost, but most are not.

     

    I might get a couple more as I can afford them and then see where I am. I've heard you need three to really see any effects, but I don't think anyone really knows much for sure about it.

    Jan 13 - gained 2 movement points

    Jan 14 - no change

    Jan 15 - gains 4 max hit points (started at 4)

    Jan 16 - gains 2 max hit points

    Jan 17 - gains 2 max hit points

    Jan 18 - gains 2 movement points

    Jan 19 - gains 2 defence points

    Jan 20 - gains 3 strength points

    Jan 21 - no change

    Jan 22 - gains 2 strength points

     

    No color or species changes yet. Hopefully soon. :)

    Favorite type of weather

    I said drizzling, because I just like a nice steady rain. The kind you can walk in and not get soaked, but still sit at home and listen to the rain on the roof. It even rained on my wedding day and the height of a thunderstorm was right at the height of our wedding. We couldn't have planned it that way. It wasn't so fun getting out to the car to leave, but it was very nice. It is kind of a cozy feeling. I wish I had a nice fireplace for rainy and chilly days. :)

    Cat vs. Dog

    I like both, but the over enthusiasm (in my opinion) of dogs and their smelliness bother me rather a lot, so I tend to prefer cats, but just for those reasons - oh and dogs are harder for me to handle because of their size. Dogs are nice (for me) when well behaved and bathed often. :) So I guess I like both.

     

    Personally I prefer house rabbits. ...but I guess that is off topic. :)

    I'd love to hear your opinions about the Lutari Talisman. Do you feel it is worth buying the beads? I bought two of them two weeks ago and I haven't seen any benefit so far. I bought two red ones (oranu and ranaka). I'm guessing if I buy more I'll start to see some benefits. But, in your opinion, is it worth the cost?
