<p>A little birdie told me you were thinking about taking one of us home with you. Very noble, indeed. The conditions here are, well, let's just say they aren't as great as they used to be. These changes haven't been all for the better. My little darlings could use a new home, a warm bed and a lot of love. It's really so kind of you to offer. We will be forever in your debt.</p>

<p>The little ones are all asleep right now but no harm in having a look around. I'll give you a tour and tell you all you need to know to make your decision. We have many pets looking for a new home and more are added constantly so if you have the time to make a trip back, please do so.</p>

If you wish to adopt one of my darlings, please send me a neomail (or link to a petpage if you so wish) with the following information.</p>
<ol>
<li>Your name or what you wish to be called.</li>
<li>Your main account and a list of your sides, as well as which account you plan to adopt on.</li>
<li>Which pet you are applying for.</li>
<li>What attracts you to this pet, why you want said pet, and why you would be a good owner.</li>
<li>Do you intend to trade this pet?</li>
<li>Any other information that would make you a good candidate for this pet's owner (e.g. customization, art, petpage, etc.)</li>

<p>Here are a few suggestions to help you more successfully adopt the pet of your dreams.</p>

<li>Have an open transfer on your account.</li>
<li>Be polite and courteous.</li>
<li>Use proper gender pronouns when referring to the 
pet you wish to adopt. "He" or "she", not "it".</li>
<li>I would prefer if the pet were to go on your main account, however, I will make exceptions.</li>
<li>Make sure your pets are well taken care of and looking their best before applying. I <b>will</b> look around your accounts.</li>
<li>Try your best to use proper grammar and spelling. I realize not everyone is a native English speaker and that is fine, but at least spell check and proof read.</li>

I wasn't looking to adopt or anything. Truthfully, I was about done applying for pets, but when I saw Kolya's board something spiked my interest so I decided to take a peak, and I am so glad I did. When I saw
Keumu there in all his gentlemanly glory, I knew I had to apply. And with Kolya's style of applications, I felt so much more at ease answering her questions in my own creative way. Kolya didn't make me jump through loops of fire nor did she expect the moon and stars for Keumu when he came home with me, (even though I would have gladly given her all that 
for him). The process was very quick and painless, relaxing and fun! Koyla brought back my hope that there are great fosters with great pets,and that at the end of the day all that matters is making the perfect pet go home with the perfect family. Keumu's only been with us for a few days, but already he's fitting in well. It was late one night on the pound boards, I was searching through the very few boards, not 100% sure what I was looking for, when I found Kolya's board. When I had a quick look at the pets that were up for adoption, I was not sure what to expect. At the time I had been working on developing a mini pirate crew, so when I saw Gnozis, ideas for a character started to flood my mind. I had always adored shadow Ogrin's, and Gnozis was perfect for my little crew, so I started my application. The rules were very easy to understand, and communication between Kolya and I was quick, easy and very polite. I'll have to disagree with you. The off-season is the perfect time to meet a lot of the core members of a chat group. A lot of the "veterans" hang out together in the off-season. If you make some friends in a group now, you will probably enjoy the AC a lot more because you won't be one of the newbie try to make a name of yourself.

About trading... Some people might be interested by Real Name (RN) or Real Word (RW) pets when looking to trade their Draik or Krawk.

There is also a chance to get a Draik/Krawk transmogrification potion in a random event...

I still think that the best way to achieve your dream pet is to earn the millions and to buy the item that you need to create a new pet or morph an existing one. Will it take time? Yes. But I think you would get a lot of satisfaction from earning your new virtual friend. :)

That guide should probably state that your random event e-mail shows up on the Premium Portal. You do have to go to your neopets.com e-mail to get it, but it shows you on the portal your new messages, you just have to click on the link to retrieve it (which usually requires your neopets.com e-mail account information.)

The portal overview page already mention that ;).

TDN has a whole section on premium (thanks to Anime and TJ who wrote it back then!)

The best way to decide about which team you want to be on is to chat with them...

I don't think any team should be avoided, but it doesn't mean all teams can fit your personality and playing style.

In the off-season, most teams are located in Virtupets or in Other Worlds. See if you can make some friends around :D

I only saw one movie in 3D... Toys Story 3.

I wasn't super impressed with the 3D in the movie either, and it did give me a headache and a hard time to breathe because I wear regular glasses underneath the theater's 3D ones.

It seems like the 3D is not super amazing yet. Not like some kind of experience you can live in a theme park. The one attraction I have in mind is Spider Man in Island of Adventure in Orlando. I was there a couple year ago, and it was purely amazing.

It's also different when I watch the one blu-ray that I have in 3D at home... and when we watch the hockey game in 3D this winter. That was far more impressive than in theater. I wonder why.

So this is more a debate between digital and analog (books, articles, magazines, etc). And that's a topic I've studied a lot during winter term :P.

When something is digitalise, it can be reproduced and shared easily. It becomes 0 and 1, and loses its "aura". The aura is what has been described as the smell of a book, the feeling that someone has opened it before you, the material qualities of its paper and ink, etc. It's a little something that makes every object unique.

When I'm given something to read online, I usually print it. Why? Because I just can't stand to sit at my desk and read on a screen. I just find it extremely distracting to read when I'm in front of my computer, a device that can entertain me with many different kind of medias and that I use to communicate (chat).

Overall, books rule but I'm not saying that I wouldn't enjoy to have an ipad... if they were affordable :P.

Oh and also, usually printed media use serif font, while digital media prefer to use sans-serif fonts. So depending on the context (paper vs screen), different font are easier on our eyes. Think about it next time you print your homework for your teacher. There is a reason why they all want us to use times new roman rather than arial :P.
