Apparently, the reason is that "Some Paint Brush and Transmogrification Potion items released since June 2012 do not have the Super Shop Wizard restriction to Price Only searches. You may search the following items like any other item and see shop owner results" (source). Though the questions still remain: why are certain items unsearchable on SSW, why did they reverse that rule with items since 2012, and why didn't they reverse the rule for all items as opposed to just ones released after 2012? Does anyone know the reason behind this? I've always been curious. Can someone look up an Eventide Petpet Paint Brush and/or a Spring Petpet Paint Brush for me? According to this page, you should be able to search for them on SSW even though they're Petpet Paint Brushes. Much appreciated

This. The last increase in pet slots was November 18, 2019 (which is my birthday, actually ). I wasn't able to find the dates for the previous pet slot additions, though, so I don't know how frequent they are. But It's been about a year and a half, so hopefully we'll get another one soon!
