I understand that it's based on a catfish, and this concept is fine. But the texture and colour just look horrible to me, idk why. Maybe because it does not match with the "cartoony" style of the other Mara pets(?).

Happy Lutari Day! Got a lutari yesterday too! Having a limited edition pet for the first time in forever! The Maraquan Lutari looks great! I must say it's one of the best looking new Maraquan pets they have created. Maraquan pets used to look great but idk since when the new ones look very weird, e.g. Maraquan Wocky is scary. Nice to see that they are returning to their old standards. (Tho probably it's just because it's based on a fan art.)

(Sorry for digging up old post) but this is happening to me today. Specifically just ONE of my pets disappeared. The images of the remaining five pets can load. Only my new pet (just adopted today) cannot have its image showed. Is it just my problem? Anyone having similar issues? Any solutions to this? Thanks in advance!

It's not dead (at least before 31 Dec 2020). Many things are still do-able once you enable flash on your browser. For the HTML5 conversion/mobile app, tbh I am not so confident about the transition. (any more news from the Premium Users invited for the beta testing?) Even if it happens, I bet it will be a crappy process like how the lag persisted for years when they relocated the servers from Viacom to Jumpstart back then in 2014. But still I hope Neopets can survive for many many more decades, for it has been, is, and will always be playing an important part in my life.
