I tried a couple of things out. I think speckled is a good color so I stuck with that, although Christmas also works well in my opinion.

I feel like something cool could be made with the Simple Wooden Stage background, but I couldn't really make anything that caught my eye.

So much of what you wrote applies exactly to my life to the point that it's eerie. I'm not great with advice, so I don't want to get lengthy with my response. I will say that the great thing about writing is that you can do it in the small moments of time between things. Every time you write, you're improving your ability at it. I think it's kind of an amazing time for writers because you can do all the writing and publishing yourself if you want to. You're limited only by your own dedication. Yeah, it can most definitely be difficult to make a living at it, but if you're passionate about it, it doesn't necessarily have to be the thing that pays the bills, you know?
Politics-wise, yeah, things are...not good. There's a lot of fear and hate being brought to the surface right now. I know it's not the most helpful thing to say, but hold on to the goodness you find. Things will change, even if it looks like things are backsliding at the moment.

I worked in cosmetics for a short period of time, but it was long enough to drastically affect the way I care for my skin. In fact, I don't think I could even begin to talk about my skincare routine without writing an essay :shiftyeyes_anim:
 
The number one thing I would tell everyone is to make sure to always remove makeup first. And I don't mean with soap. Makeup is typically oil based; that's how it sticks to our skin. So you need an oil to remove it. Then you can come in with a regular cleanser to remove the excess oils that are more water soluble. Washing your face should always be a two step process. And forget makeup wipes! All they do is tug and pull at the skin without 100% dissolving the makeup...you are still left with residues to be washed off! And there is no point in using expensive serums and toners and moisturizers if they can't fully absorb into the skin.

I hadn't worked on it in a long time, but fairly recently I put a whole bunch of extra omelettes and jellies and stuff in my inventory, then quick-stock deleted them. I got the avatar after only 2 batches (140 items I think, right). I don't know if it was a cumulative effort from previous attempts, or just a fluke this time around.

Woohoo! I got the Maths Nightmare one. I'm pretty sure 5800 is the absolute max I'll be able to get on that game. My math skills have deteriorated to practically nothing.

Just got the avatar for Meerca Chase. Would have been nice to get a high enough score for a trophy as well, but ah well. 

I've recently got that avatar and I thought at some points that I'd go insane.. I lost the number of times I refreshed my inventory for over 3 days. 
What you can try to make it (possibly) faster is to have: not only one cheese item and get more than 1 Drackonack.
