You've been here for quite a while now. You don't know how many days exactly, but you know you've passed that same carving at least 14 times. Exhausted, you decide to take a break and sit down for a while.
EEP!
What in the world was that? You look down to discover you'd planted yourself right on top of a Petpet. Poor thing. You wonder how it got here.
Wait a tick! What's that under the Petpet? You shoo the little critter away and open the small box that almost escaped your notice.
It's no massive treasure, but it's better than nothing. With all you've been through, you decide it's best to quit while you're ahead and you quickly make for an exit. -

My fiance cooked dinner for me and I was lazy all day long. It was a good day.

When I was in High School I performed with my school's choir, the first 2 years I was in the choir anyone could join, the last year I was in the named choir group you had to audition for. Now I just do karaoke while my fiance's band has tried to get me to sing with them a couple of times, so far only on rock band and karaoke nights. lol My fiance plays drums and a bit of guitar. I know a bit of piano and even less guitar.

Congratulations! That's so awesome that you both got back together and ended up getting married!
@jellysundae @rntracy1 Eh, being a bridesmaid at 14 is okay. It's great because you don't have to do much, but nobody takes you seriously either. I guess it's a give and take situation.
On the topic of engagement rings, I would rather my (hypothetical) future husband would give me a ring that he chose with love and care than make our future unstable by breaking the bank just for a ring. Honestly, I would rather get a less expensive ring chosen with love or a semi-affordable sterling silver ring with a zircon or aquamarine stone than a gold diamond ring with a whopping price tag.
Well, we were 15 and 17 before, so another shot was definitely worth it.
I love plenty of rings that have thousands of dollars for a price tag, I just can't imagine myself wearing such and object. Women's engagement and wedding bands are so overpriced as it is.On 5/8/2017 at 5:19 AM, jellysundae said:How do you guys feel about the heirloom engagement ring?
I love the idea of it, but...what if the girl doesn't actually like the ring...
When Prince William and Kate Middleton got engaged and he gave her his Mum's ring I wondered about this, because while I loved that ring back in the 80s, I don't like it at all now, and what could possibly be more awkward than not wanting to wear such a significant family momento?
I'd say it's most definitely the kind of thing that destroys a relationship. Though you can probably safely say that if a guy's gonna get all butthurt because you don't like his grandmother's ring then you're probably better off without him...
I'm conflicted on this. While I would want something unique and hopefully lovely, with thought and love put into picking it out, the idea of wearing a ring that has been passed down the family line and has been given with love and worn with love for all that time, unattractive or not, that is a lot of love in that little object.
