I've been using the same account as my main for many years now, so I can't really speak to switching to a younger account, but it always seemed to me that my account would go through phases of good/bad luck. Sometimes I go weeks and weeks without a single random event, and then suddenly I start getting tons of them, win prizes from all of my dailies, have good lab ray zaps, etc.

 

I think it's supposed to be a perk of having a premium account that you get more random events, although I don't know if they're necessarily good random events. But something that has been happening lately since I became active again and re-upgraded my account, is that whenever I land on the pant devil when spinning a wheel, I get the message that says "You have no items to steal!" even when I do have items in my inventory. I don't know if this is a glitch, or a benefit of having a premium account? So maybe, as far as premiums are concerned, it reduces your bad luck rather than increasing your good luck?

 

I've never been a premium member and I always get that same message if I ever land on the pant devil, so I can safely say it's not a premium account benefit.

Faeire pets are sooooo cute, it's my favorite color. ...which is why it's annoying that usuls, my favorite pet, have such a boring look. I can make a faerie usul adjacent just by slapping on a pair of wings :(

 

Complaining aside, my favorite is Gnorbu. Xweetok, too.

 

I stopped doing faerie quests because they were draining my bank account lol but my favorite faerie is probably the water faerie...wonder if all my time spent at the healing springs is influencing that hahahaha

 

I completely agree  :sad02: Some of them really need a makeover like Aishas and Unis which are 2 of my favourite pets. I hate the ones that just look like basic colours with wings slapped on. 

 

My favourite converted faerie pets are: Poogle, Eyrie and Buzz. I think the last two have some of the nicest colour combinations (the Poogle is pretty basic, but I just love it for some reason. It was one of my first dream pets). As for UCs: Yurble, Lenny and Grarrl. They have great colour combinations too, but I think they also have the best poses. 

 

And as for Neopian faeries, my favourite is Taelia the Snow Faerie *pokes avatar*, followed by Aethia the Battle Faerie and then Fyora.

 

In terms of the Poogle, I think why they are so attractive as faeries despite the design being basic is because of how beautiful the colouring is :wub_anim: I really like the UC Yurble too!

 

My favorite faerie pets are xweetoks, ixis, hissis, and lennies. First three are partially bias since I have them, but UC Faerie Lennies and Xweetoks are really pretty to me and have nice poses. As for faeries my favorites are Taelia the snow faerie and Naia the Fountain faerie, because I love mermaids, I love winter(I was born during a blizzard), I care for many people, related to me or not, and have an affinity for reading(hence I like water faeries).

 

It's lovely you also relate to some faeries like I do ^_^ Being born during a blizzard sounds very interesting! Reminds me of Daenerys from Game of Thrones where she got the name "Daenerys Stormborn" due to being born during the worst storm in living memory :whaa:

 

I like the Grundo. I think it's Faerie color is unique with the space look. & the Grey Faerie has always been my favorite .

 

I really like how the Grundo looks as well! Reminds me a lot of the space faerie and the Grundo colouring is just gorgeous :wub_anim:

I'm curious - which of the faerie pets are your favourite? ^_^ You can also say your favourite UC faerie if you like. 

 

And a little bonus question...which of the faeries are your favourite? 

 

For me...

 

UC faerie Ixis are the most gorgeous thing I've ever seen :wub_anim: but my favourite converted faerie pet seems to change every now and again. For a while it was faerie cybunnies, then faerie pteris and now it's faerie poogles. I also think the faerie eyrie is gorgeous but thanks to the AC giving out those morphing potions it's not a striking pet anymore  :sad02: I also love how the faerie grarrl looks like a dragon and is one of the few grarrl colours I like...the other one being shadow <3 

 

My favourite faeries are a close call between air faeries and water faeries. I also like light faeries  :laughingsmiley: I also, coincidentally feel like my personality matches these 3 the most considering I love sun, water/swimming and beauty products. I also prize all knowledge and love reading. 

 

I love Naia the fountain faerie for obvious reasons (who doesn't want a dip in the rainbow fountain?!), Marina (the healing springs faerie) but I also love the library faerie. She's so pretty and intelligent :wub_anim:

This is the first time a Daily Dare game got on my sisters nerves...normally she's calm and can get game scores quite quickly (unlike me, lol) but today she got VERY annoyed because she couldn't get anywhere near AAA's score and claimed the Computer Mynci was way too intelligent. She ended up giving up, settling for Abi's score and buying the Deserted Volleyball Court background. 

 

Now she hates this game and Myncis  :rolleyes_anim:

The prizes aren't mixed up this time, so don't worry ^_^

Have you ever found that your main account, or one of your side accounts seems to be more "lucky" than the others?

 

Like getting more (good) random events, winning more on Deadly Dice, or if you've ever swapped which account is your main you find yourself getting more good rewards from dailies?

 

I'm just wondering if it's only me who's experienced this. 

I challenged AAA and last night I thought I had made a huge mistake because I couldn't get anywhere near AAA's score and I didn't understand how the wooden platforms worked.

 

However, I got up this morning, worked out the wooden platforms, persevered and managed to get 800! I'm so happy  :woot:

I'm glad to see that so many of you have also had positive experiences with the pound! 

 

LightFairy is so cute! Good for your sister. I wish so badly that staff would let us rename our pets...all of my old pets have underscores. Their names aren't awful, but those underscores are ugly. I created a new pet a few days ago and man it was difficult to come up with a name! All of the good ones are taken. 

 

I have a Dimensional Peophin that I'm going to give a cosmic makeover to when a trade is finalized and I wanted something that sounded like the word "ethereal". All variations were taken so I combined Ethereal and Ariel and came up with Etherielle. So many pets have owners that will never come back and I wish their pets' names would be released so active users could have them.

I wish they would let us rename them as well, and I agree that all these pets sitting on obviously abandoned accounts should have their names freed up for others to take. Like, a good thing to do would be to send email warnings to these accounts if they haven't logged on for over a year + a half that their accounts will be removed if they don't log in and then remove them once it passes 2 years. I doubt JumpStart will ever do anything like that though, considering there are still so many things broken on the website (online Neofriends, KeyQuest to name but a few) and they are terrible at responding to tickets. 

 

Etherielle is a gorgeous name, my sister would be dead jealous :P I'm glad you were able to grab such a nice name!

I'm very lucky because I don't suffer from hay fever but my Mum does. 

 

I'm unsure if you can get these in the US, but in the UK you can buy these tablets called antihistamines in any pharmacy or drug store (such as Boots) which provide immense relief for my Mum so you might want to see if you could get yourself some of those (or an American equivalent) ^_^

 

Also, make sure you get 2nd or 3rd generation antihistamines as the 1st generation ones can cause drowsiness. 

I'm sure we've all come across many names we may have wanted to give to our Neopets, only to find they are taken. There are loads of these names up for trade on the Neoboards, but most of us can't meet the expectations of the trading requirements they have. Even worse, lots of these names are sitting on frozen or abandoned accounts  :sad02:

 

However, my sister has done something quite unique. What she did was she typed in loads of different Neopet names she wanted, then when a Neopet would inevitably pop up she would click on them to see if they had an owner. For one of these names, the pet was unbelievably stuck in the pound so she went and adopted them! <3

 

A lot of pets get stuck in the pound and won't come up no matter how many times you cycle through, so I would highly recommend my sisters method.

 

She's the proud new owner of LightFairy ^_^ She's a big fan of all things faerie so I'm really happy for her :P

Yes, it means you have the opportunity to beat both AAA and Abigail. If you choose AAA you have to beat the score of 400 to get both his and Abigail's. If you choose just Abigail's score you'll get just her prize. Which is the "invisible" plushie at the moment lol

What does a double dare mean? Does it mean we get both Abigail and AAA's prize? 

It's working now but it's quite slow. 

I'm so sad about the stamp mix up. I reallly want the stamp but no one is selling. Even for extortionist prices

 

I checked the Trading Post and people are actually selling the stamp for 1m+ NPs  :mellow:

 

I did Abigail today and got the stamp but my sister did AAA because she loves faerie items and wanted the dress.

Decided to challenge AAA today (I challenged Abigail yesterday) and I got a score of 521!  :woot:

Transparent pets look rad, and the Shoyru hasn't disappointed~

 

However, like deboratibi said they look better without the smile outline but I think that's just me being nit picky.

My name is Winter and I'm new to the TDN forums, as a poster. I've lurked here for a while but never made an account until now - not sure why, but that hardly matters  :laughingsmiley: I'm 19 years old and I live in the UK. I'm currently a student at university majoring in Japanese and International Business  :nerd: I'm not very good at talking about myself, so I'll keep this short.

 

My hobbies include sleeping, procrast-- wait, those aren't real hobbies are they?  :sad01_anim: Okay, so moving on from hobbies then...

 

My interests, although I'm not sure how these are any different from hobbies include anime, manga, fashion, reading, documentaries, history, politics (to an extent), learning languages, travelling, wasting my time on Netflix, among other things. 

 

I joined Neopets back in 2006 with an embarrassing username then quit and forgot the login details at some point. I tried getting the login details back by submitting a ticket to Neopets but because I have an awful memory and couldn't remember anything due to lack of proof I unfortunately wasn't able to regain access  :sad02: So now my even more embarrassing user lookup with broken code is forever on public show to whichever unfortunate soul may or may not stumble upon that relic.

 

Now, I use the account exquiisiite which I made back in October 2013  :rock: If any of you presumably cool dudes or dudettes have any questions, wanna say hi etc. feel free~
