The blue bori potion should go for 280K at the minimum and 375K maximum, selling around 300-320K is your best bet.

The Nightsteed Stamp should sell for 4.2 million at the minimum and 6 million at the maximum, the best/average price to sell around is 5 million. :)

At the moment I'm watching Game of Thrones, Walking Dead, Under the Dome and Once Upon a Time. Game of Thrones is amazing in all aspects, Walking Dead has its ups and downs (gets a little too 'soap opera' sometimes), Under the Dome has a great concept but again, with its ups and downs (a major down being poor acting and dialogue) and Once Upon a Time has been going downhill for a long time but I continue to watch it because Robert Carlyle's acting compensates for the downslide.

I just have my tongue and earlobes pierced and have no plans for more. In the past though I've had three lip piercings, an upper ear piercing, my bellybutton done four times and nipple done twice in addition to the earlobe piercings and tongue piercing. The initial lip piercing healed well, then I got bored of it and the attempts to later re-pierce it rejected. The eyebrow piercing healed but later got torn out, which was for the best because in hindsight it looked terrible. The upper ear piercing refused to heal and was without a doubt the most painful piercing I've had. My bellybutton was done first at a beautician. It rejected. So again at a mall cosmetics shop. Rejected. Then I gave it a go. Rejected. Then a friend gave it a go. Rejected. I gave up. The nipple was a home job and healed well, but I removed it because an ex disapproved and it healed over in that time. The second attempt at piercing it was at a piercing shop and it was rejecting me so I rejected it. The earlobes were done in the long ago when I was a baby and the tongue was a tattoo shop job when I was 14 and remains my favorite today.

I have three pets with one main pet who gets all the training, reads all the books, does all the dailies - basically, does all the things. The only time I switch pets is for fishing. I feel like a terrible parent giving all of my attention to 'the favorite' and just taking the reject kids out on fishing trips to alleviate the guilt of never being able to love them as I love the favorite. I do give all three food and clothes though, so there's that. Main pet-bro is special because he's been by my side from the beginning, whereas I don't even remember when or where I acquired the second. The third is just an adoption pet I intended to abandon but then he got zapped to Stealthy and I kept him because Stealthy pet color is best pet color.

I won't go into my opinions on the free speech aspect as nbbug already pretty much covered it, but as far as filters go I agree there needs to be more leniency. Censoring 'drink' is a little absurb, though I do understand censoring 'cigarette'. When it comes down to it Neopets' target demographic is children and the filters need to reflect and accomodate parent's and shareholder's concerns to maintain that family-friendly image. But given there's an aging userbase and consequent shifting demographic, it's in their best interest to accomodate both demographics which I think could be accomplished in this area with seperate filters. As in, setting the default filters as the current more strict ones and allowing an option to disable filters or select a second, less strict set if the user is 18+. Obviously this wouldn't stop younger people from just changing their ages to 18+, but in that case the responsibility shifts more from Neopets itself to the users.

 

This might seem a little off-topic but overall, I think it's not just about the filters but that Neopets really needs to broaden their target demographic in general. I don't know the exact figures, but in 2005 only 2% of users were under 8, then roughly 80% around 14 and 20% 18+. It might have gained its original traction from targeting the 8-12 age range but in just those six years it shifted to around the 14 area. From what I've seen in surveys, the userbase is now around 60% in the 20-25 demographic (though that might be more a result of the website conducting the survey's demographics than Neopet's itself, I'd estimate it's more around 40%). In any case, it's evident the userbase IS aging and if Neopets is to stay relevant, it should adapt to that. The Nickelodeon integration obligated Neopets to continue targeting children, but hopefully Jumpstart will change that. I know it's a franchise that targets children in the 3-10 demographic but it apparentely bought Neopets because of the older audience, not despite it. So here's hoping Jumpstart's intention is to simultaneously expand both their demographics and that of Neopets. Ideally, the first step in that direction being a filter overhaul.

I'm loving both the island and pirate themed ones! As for the the 2 pirate-island outfit comparisons, I prefer the pirate. The blue/gray colour is more flexible, whereas the Island poogle's yellow coat has more influence on what outfit colours go well with it. Not that base colour matching is a big deal, I just prefer that consistency in customisations. :yes:

I love pirate the most from the original colours you were contemplating, though choosing between pirate and island is a tougher call. I prefer island just because it has a nicer base colour scheme and the markings are adorable, though I imagine pirate would be easier to customise what with the more basic base color. Pirate and island would share similar customization themes as is so I'd just spend some time messing around with customizations for both and go with the one that has more options so you can change it up in the future.

When I started out I was selling at 30NP, bumped it up to 45NP, 60NP and now I sell at 75NP. I was choosing what price to sell at based on NEODAQ's reports for a while, but now that I have a larger portfolio I just wait it out until the 75NP point. Usually I'll sell a third at 75NP then hold or sell depending on whether it goes up or down. I've never held above 85NP but once it gets a little larger I'll bump up the sell point to 85-100NP.

I got the Lever of Doom avatar last week after months of pulling it and a minimum of 50K (no doubt closer to around 100K) down the drain. I almost wish I'd given up at 2K, but I guess it was good mental preparation for the financial ruining of attempting the Wheel of Extravagance avatar. :sad02:

I love both names, Illsae gives more of a relaxing-on-the-beach island vibe while Illsaeth gives more of a killing-stuff-on-the-beach vibe. I prefer Illsae as a name, but Illsaeth suits her more as a hunter. Her customization is perfect! If you had NC to burn a Stonehead Spear or Krawk Island Adventure sword would be a neat little addition. Though a left hand item might clutter it too much and I'm notorious for cluttering customizations. Looks great as is to me though! :thumbsup:

I'm having the same problem with Firefox, sometimes randombly but usually when playing Habitarium or flash games. As sebenjos said, it's been a lot worse in the last couple of months for me to. Disabling addons doesn't seem to help and I can't even get shockwave games to run on Mozilla. :sad02: I've been contemplating migrating to Chrome but it sounds as if people are having the same problems on there. Anyone had more using a different browser or another fix (disabling anti-virus programs and whatnot)?

I'm not too fond of Orgrins aside from the Robot Ogrin, this color isn't much of an exception. It's always good to get more colors though and custard pets are lacking as is so it's a nice addition to the custard pet bowl.

Pandaphants are going for around 375K minimum and 800K maximum, you should be able to sell it at around 500K-545K with patience.

Sword of Apocalypse goes for about 300-350K minimum and 450-500K maximum, 400K is a good middleground price for it I'd stick with that. :yes:

 

Any word on what Lawyerbot Poetry Vol. 1 is going for on the streets these days yet guys? That and Zombie Ixi plushie, I have it up at 300K based on other zombie plushies around that area but I think it might be too high.

Conquering NQ2, achieving dat All Star rank in the AC, assembling the lab map, getting a stealth zap from the lab and getting an Isca stamp in an RE (then proceeding to place it in the stamp album instead of selling because I was acquiring stamps at the time, didn't notice and I'm an idiot).

As others have said, Sutek's Tomb, Gadgadsgame, Dice Escape, Ultimate Bullseye 2 and the browser games are the easiest IMO. You can get a vague idea of the easiest from TND's game avatar statistics as Rune said. Aside from that, just practice the scoreboard ones to get in there at the beginning of the month when it shouldn't be too difficult to get on board the high score ship.

I've won once, it's free though so might as well give it a go. Bagatelle on the other hand, there is nothing more rigged than that. Of all the rigged games out there, that is the riggiest.

That and the "we'll get around to it sometime in this vague, distant timeline" approach to updates. The updated Battledome has been in beta since the prehistoric ages and I need my Defenders of Neopia avatars in the modern ages. Speaking of the Battledome, Punchbag Sid. Where art thou Punchbag Sid? Oh and ridiculous trading post offers. If I list that I want 200K, that means I want 200K. It doesn't mean I want a ptolymelon. It doesn't mean I want a ptolymelon and 100 NP. Does someone know what the going price for Lawyerbot Poetry Vol. 1 is? There's no price history on Jellyneo or other price-checking sites, the current trade lots are just requesting offers and the shop wizard turns up nothing. The prices for other r96 books are all over the shop from 2K to into the millions so I haven't even got a ballpark figure to work with here.

This was my first year participating in the AC and first (and no doubt last) year achieving All Star rank. The first 20 minutes or so was fun, the next month was the opposite of fun. Slushie Slinger and MSN in particular were so tedious to troop through. BUT at least I have a nice trophy to show with pride exactly how much spare time I had for a month, so there's that. :hairy:
