I've wanted Maths Nighmare since I was a kid (also that av is my dream av). I almost got it several times, but in the past few months the scores have been ridiculously high and I struggle to break 5800, so it's probably not going to happen any time soon. I used to be pretty close when the top scores were lower.

Precisely why I don't really talk about my Lenny too much onsite. I wouldn't want his clothing choice to snowball into a topic that's not allowed. Even so, it's fun to dress him in a lot of different ways. :P

I had a Rainbow Lenny with a masculine name whose gender was frequently changed against my will back when I was labbing him and before I could gender swap using the BD. I jokingly imagined that he was a drag queen and he didn't have a character yet, so I ended up just kind of thinking of him as a fashion conscious pet who wears whatever he wants. I figured I shouldn't limit his wardrobe because he's fab no matter what he wears. Cross dressing pets is a-okay with me. Personality is what matters, right?

This is a really hard choice. I think Blue Blumaroos are great, though. Yellow ones are also pretty snazzy.

The lemon thing is actually a really clever idea.

I've never had a gallery and got bored the few times I tried to start one, but I have to admire some of the work people put into their galleries I've seen out there. This is especially true for ones that I find incredibly unique and neat. For example, recently I saw a gallery full of things that fly. It had kites and toys and all kinds of flying things. Your mileage may vary in regards to how interesting that is, but I would never have thought of it myself.

 

There are tons of plushie galleries and book galleries and similar "standard item type" galleries. What's the most unique/interesting gallery themes you've seen? Alternatively, talk about your gallery or your idea for an interesting gallery.

 

I feel like once my Ogrin finally zaps robot, this is definitely what I'm going to do. I enjoy zapping, but I'm running out of dreamies and ready to share.

I think it's worth noting that names are still definitely case sensitive in that your pet will retain the capitalization that you entered upon creation. If your pet's name is Foo, it will always appear as "Foo" with that capitalization. Any pet that I've made with a a capital letter follows this rule. Neopets, however, does consider any variation of that pet's name taken regardless of differences in capitalization. Because "Foo" is taken, "foo", "fOo", "FoO", and any other variation is also considered taken by your pet.

I'm pretty sure I don't have it, but I reached rank one and nothing has happened so far. It doesn't appear to be listed as retired. Either I don't know what I'm doing or it isn't available anymore, I guess. Sorry if this is a dumb question.

I used to sell a lot of random stuff, but now I've moved to selling specific categories of things in order to be part of shop directories and such. Grooming products at the moment. I'm not sure how it'll go just yet, but we'll see.

22 and playing for about 10 years. It used to seem like all kids my age....and now it still seems like people my age, except I don't really notice anymore kids?

New Pokemon! I'm probably in the minority of people who really look forward to the Bird pokemon. I love birds in real life so I enjoy seeing the designs and what birds they are based on - this Robin critter is so cute!

 

I am very pleased with these so far, I love the fact you can ride the goat. That is amazing. And the panda is incredibly cute. I'm so excited for these games!

 

Nah, son, I love me some birds. They're some of my favorites in real life and in game. I just love that we have a robin-looking bird now.

 

Nobody cares but I'm so excited that I have to share: combining birthday money and some extras laying around I may very soon have a 3DS. I didn't think I would be able to afford one in time for Pokemon XY. I'n not sure if it's worth it to spend the extra money for a 3DS or wait for a bundle or something like that, though.

I took it. :) I still follow a lot of MBTI related things because I've never found a test that described me more accurately. (INTJ) It's pretty cool finding out there are other people who understand how you think.

I wouldn't see an issue with it if they put them in the HT, though I think it should still be at a high price. Anybody who was playing 10+ years ago knows the market and what was available was vastly different and it will continue to change through the site's life. I remember when I got my first babaa (favorite petpet) it was a gift because they were so much more expensive than they are now. Most petpets and popular things were back then. It's not as extreme as this, but dailies and other factors increase/decrease the value of rare items all the time. In the neopets economy, much like in real life, there's a bit of luck and timing involved in what your wares are worth. Things I never thought I could afford are cheap now. Things I thought would always be around are expensive.

I don't really blame the security guard all that much. I think he was trying to cover himself mostly. He approached me with a "I know this is really stupid, but it's the rule" attitude. I think TNT is that way, too, sometimes. They'll go for anything that can even kind of look like it's against the rules so they don't have to deal with any "Well user X did this and you didn't freeze THEM so it must be okay" business. In this case I definitely see the thought process. "This user is baiting people into the chat for votes using item help." Even if that wasn't your intention, it can easily look that way.

 

I agree that it does happen to the wrong people pretty often, though. Shouldn't they be dealing with actual rule breakers as quickly as these types of offenses? I've seen people in the PC who clearly scammed people and got away with it for weeks before being frozen. And doesn't the BC have stolen art in it from time to time?

I'm usually not bothered by TNT's rules, but that's kind of stiff. Sorry it happened to you. At least you know now. I remember I was at a group event irl wearing a sign that said "free hugs" and was stopped by security for "advertising". I was wearing a mascot costume, so of course I'm gonna give hugs to the kids and kids at heart.

I don't do much customizing, but I have to say I'm regularly surprised about how nice a lot of Island pets look without their paint brush clothes. I think I would like to do some custom Island pets provided good items that compliment the color are available. Christmas and striped can also be nice depending on the pet, which is great because of how cheap they are.
