I bought some KBAT today and noticed TSCR is almost at 90. It was t 92 earlier. Tempted to sell.

What's the correct price for the Taelia Vs. Ember Stamp? Or is it just fluctating too much right now and should I wait ~6 months to see the price stabilized?

Its fluctuating a lot but Id say its about 500k. I would think it would stabilize in a day or two.

Hi! I keep getting pieces to the Spooky map, and then selling them for whatever that piece happens to go for, but I'm wondering if there's a useful point to putting the non-daily maps together? I have Lab, Petpet, and Shore, and I think I know that Spooky and the others (I don't think I really see the others) offer maybe a pittance in reward NPs, but the pieces still sell really well. This makes me wonder if there's another reason to collect them, besides intrinsic value. Considering only intrinsic value, do they stay showing up as a completed map once you've done it, or does it just blank out back to a grid of question marks so you can submit it again and again? If it filled up and stayed filled up, I might do it, just to go see the map page completed (like a stamp page)!

Id just like to say that spooky maps are no longer worth it now that snorkle snouts deflated :(

Original treasure maps are usually not worth it too unless you get very lucky since a lot of r90-99s deflated with draik eggs dropping too.

This is a long explanation, so please bear with me.

 

Okay, I had an account I wasn't on for a few years because I couldn't remember my password, so I decided not to worry about it. A couple of months ago I realized I remembered the password because I had simply mixed up some numbers and decided I did want to go on again. I went on the account and you know, the smart thing would have been to change the password and create a pin and whatever other updates for security. However, I didn't do that, I got caught up changing my profile and customizing my pets.

 

Anyway, about a week ago I tried to sign on to my account and it tells me the password is wrong. The first thing I thought is I forgot the password and the combination of numbers again. Yes, I am that absent minded. However, I tried every combination I could think of and none of them worked, but I get so over focused that I was still thinking about it being the password. I sent a ticket to get my password because on top of everything else, I didn't change the email on the account to my new one. (of course being that the account was actually hacked, it wouldn't have mattered, but I obviously didn't realize that when I sent the ticket).

 

Finally, it occurred to me to look at my profile from my main account. Not only was my profile changed, but I checked my gallery and all my items are gone. Of course I knew finally that what was going on is my account was hacked. I tried to go back to my ticket to add that it wasn't about my password, it was about my account being hacked, but I couldn't sign in to the help section, so I sent an email, but I didn't realize that emails count as tickets and go to the same area. When I was able to get to the ticket section again the email was closed and marked as a duplicate, but the original ticket I sent was still listed as open. I added information on that ticket to explain about the email and apologize and to confirm that it was not about the password, but about my account being hacked.

 

Now it has been several days, I have been checking the ticket and my profile everyday and not only is the account still up with someone else having access to it, but the ticket is still listed as open.

 

It feels like TNT is upset with me because I sent a duplicate ticket. Why did they close that, but not respond to my other ticket? I'm sure they have a lot of people to get to, but it used to be that they would have frozen the account right away. Yeah, I would have to get the account back and who knows how long that would be, but at least no one else would have access to the account. 

 

I would be upset about this regardless, but the worst thing is my Maraquan shoyru is on that account. I had her sent there because my main account is not 4 months old yet. Of course I care about my other pets, but she is my dream pet and I promised I would take care of her and now I have let down the person who gave her to me. Every time I go to that account I am afraid Lillinah will be gone.

 

I know I made a mistake in not doing everything I could to protect the account, but I still think I should be able to get it back. I feel like I'm being punished for not handling things the right way.

 

In regards to hackers, I don't know how people do that, but it is scary and also messed up that people do that and I really don't understand why anyone would want to take something that someone else worked for.

If you dont mind me asking, what is the username of the account? Also in the past few months, hackers have been taking advantages of database access and going into accounts that havent changed their word in a while. I got my account hacked too around 2 1/2 months ago, so I just made a ticket and sat on a new one. I guess only time will tell when I'll get it back, however TNT has been returning many of the hacked accounts recently.

Some of you might remember me from a while ago, I used to be very active on Neo and TDN :) Unfortunately about 18 months ago I got frozen for cheating and I pretty much immediately left Neopets. I wrote a very detailed ticket and posted various things in there from me and other people about why it was total hogwash, but I was so upset I couldn't continue on another account - I'd worked way too hard to start all over again.

 

I found myself getting a bit teary this evening thinking about how lovely it was on here around December and how it made me feel like I was in a proper community, so I added an extra message to my ticket in what I imagine is probably a vain hope.

 

I wondered if anyone here has been frozen before and how long it took to get your account back, if you did?

It depends what you were frozen for. For cheating, I dont know of many that got their accounts back. I got my account back once when I self iced but I think thats the only time. However now it is much easier to get accounts back compared to 18 months ago

Id say hubrid nox memorial shield, its simply better overall. 

Of course for certain challengers, FTAB would be more ideal but overall HNMS is better. There is a reason its banned in almost all 2p tournaments.

I haven't gotten anything amazing but it's free so I keep doing it. Has anyone noticed if the type of petpet matters? I've gotten slightly better things with my slightly better petpets but I wasn't sure if that was just a coincidence.

I highly doubt that the type of petpet matters, since I dont think that they have a ranking for petpets, unless you mean by price.

Yea as someone mentioned you can win grave danger stamp which dino8268 found in a user shop for 99k since they were clueless on the price and sold for 50m. Also can win other decent prizes that you can shove into SDB.

Just came back to neopets after not playing for about 6 months and saw that both FAER and PEOP were above 100! Nice surprise to return to :)

Checked on neodaq and the stock index is at 3000+. When the bar which showed active players and stock index was last up i remember 2400!

I feel you haha. They usually eventually reply but its usually some time between 6 months and a year for me even on minor matters. Sometimes more.
