Hey, I usually spend most of my time chatting on the AC (avatar chat, for y'all that don't know), and it got me thinking, even though TDN is the best obviously, it would be a great debate to see who could support the neoboards over TDN! If there isn't any interest, then whatever, but I thought it would be cool to see if anyone could bring up points for such a slanted topic.

As an example:

The neoboards are a bunch of broad topics, and you can find more "specific" groups to talk about subjects that are online and share that same specific interest.

Anyway, hope this is a solid debate to go on the "On-site vs Off-site". Like I said, I <3 TDN and personally think it's better overall, but it would be cool to see the opinions of others on the site that the debaters would have to go over! :P

I think the problem may be with your quotes. It looks like you have smart quotes on. Were you doing the coding in a google doc by any chance? Also to clean up your code I'd use paragraph tags rather then line breaks where you have <br><br>. You can add <p>to the beginning of that section and </p> to the end of that section.

You rock! It was the quotation marks, I did it in Word 2013, and it messed up the marks, so I went and hand changed every one! Thank you!

This Darigan Pteri will be 644 May 7th. I thought I would post it early so people could prepare.

I honestly, have done some "illegal things" on Neopets, not buying money, not using any programs, but something where I gain no profit... It was an edit code trick.

I didn't gain anything and I deleted the account, I just wanted to know if it was possible to do.

Now, I went to the prize shop, and for some reason, thought again that I could see what I could do. I don't do it to share with the world, I would like to tell TNT that it is possible, but on the same point I don't want to get frozen for doing it.

I was wondering, how should I go about it. I mean, I just want to protect Neopets, and I don't want to lose my account either.

While this may sound weird, I did it on a quickly made account, and once again deleted it. Nothing was gained, I just wanted to see, and then tell TNT. I seriously would never cheat in that way, or really anyway to further myself on Neopets. I hope you understand.

Just for fun, I looked up the time frame for post-plot prize shops opening. (I guess the Obelisk War is more of a "post-event" prize shop, but...)

Curse of Maraqua: (first time there was a prize shop)

began Mar. 15, 2005; ended June 10, 2005; prize shop opened June 14, 2005

The Lost Desert Plot:

began Aug. 30, 2005; ended Nov. 29, 2005; prize shop opened Jan. 30, 2006

The Tale of Woe:

began Oct. 3, 2006; steps ended Nov. 20, 2006; prize shop opened Mar. 2, 2007

Journey to the Lost Isle:

began May 1, 2007; steps ended May 31, 2007; prize shop opened July 5, 2007

That means that this one was relatively quick, not the fastest though. But, I am content, I just want TNT to remove the Negg Festival and Obelisk topics on the neoboards. Lol.

Not what I'm saying. I'm saying that they didn't do a good job with this particular thing. They should have planned it better in advance, for starters. They should have waited until the Battledome was out of beta, for one thing. The only thing they should by doing right now is tallying the prize points--which, as we've seen, should not take that long.

 

I am more annoyed with them right now, however, because they DID just do something I absolutely disapprove of, which is censorship. And if it were curse words, or real life events, etc. that they were censoring, I'd understand. But they just deleted a board simply because people were saying negative things about the war. Not even just the prize shop--the war in general. And the things people were saying were constructive criticism, things that TNT should take into account! "War should have been longer." "Glitches were bad." But they deleted the board. I've been on for twelve years, but I'm actually considering deleting my account (which, sadly, I've paid for premium for another eight months, plus a lot of NC) because of what they're being like right now.

Definitely a fake shop, but I liked some of the items, and I doubt there will be any new color, especially a glitter one.

But, also, that is a dumb thing to delete the board over. I mean, the war wasn't great. It was really them tossing a bone to the users. I mean, it was a one part, battle plot. No puzzles, no places being effected except for where the obelisk was. They were just like, "Yeah, dress up a couple neopets and make them battle. Why not." They also made people see the BD which is okay, but that was all they did. Make you realize the new BD is okay, and then end it. No one even knows what happened to the obelisk. Or really who even won. It was like, okay, we're done, lets just give them their prizes and walk away. I am let down by this event. Truly.

Keep saving, there is nothing I need at the moment.

Yeah, I just, I am not the best at anything else. Lol. It really is the only way I make NP. That and dailies. Lol. My routine. Then I go to the Trades/Sells section or the AC chat and try to sell and build relationships.

I came back on a while ago, with only 1 million NP, and I am back up to 10 million! Yay! I have been doing some great RS'ing, and it really is true, the next millions are easier after hitting one million. This maybe took me 3 or 2 months. I have 3 awesome customized pets, lab map, and full gallery. While still no SuAP, BGC, or MSPP lend, I am really proud of my account now!

Not really sure how to feel about the robot. Pretty, cool. I like my robot Lutari more. ;) But the rogue outfit is amazing!

I am yet to find my time, and I have 4 pets, but I am just saying that this board idea is great, and is the reason my Hissi is magma! I had someone great do it for me!

I actually got it on a normal day, with a Sugar Draik Skull. I restock normally, and I am rebuilding my main that I lost, but I am back up to 7million. Anyway, the chocolate avatar is not easy, really it isn't. But, if you know what the items you are looking for are, a little luck, quick typing and clicking, and you should have it soon. Just keep trying.
