Singledwish123
hi y'all, i've had recurring nightmares all my life, owing to the intrusive thoughts I get from OCD. my bf and i share a bed, so I can't exactly hide when I wake up crying or screaming. it makes me feel so weak and fragile, and I never want him to think he has to take care of me. does anyone have any tips on restful sleep? or strategies for reducing panic caused by nightmare or other stress? love
GlitchtaleLover
I hear this a lot online and I'm not completely sure if it works, but here are a few that could at least be worth a try. 1. Go to sleep and wake up around the same time everyday. It helps your brain stay in a calm schedule. 2. Reading books before bed can help your brain relax and your dreams be a lot nicer! 3. Avoid eating or doing physical activities. This gets your brain more fixated on going unconscious. I hope some of these help! I'm not an expert or anything but I wish you good dreams for now on! Thanks so much! I'll have to try these out. I always thought being active before sleep was good for me, but I'll try just relaxing with a novel. You're too sweet!
