Shadowcave
I had a problem today with a massive "Nerf" ad which took over half of my screen! I understand ads are vital to cover gaming costs but does it really have to be so big? It ment I had to scroll my screen every time I refreshed or changed activity! It made playing Neoquest II impossible and frustrating! anyone else had this problem?
WhiteWolf
I've been there, and I have three suggestions: First, the full screen ads sometimes have a large X to close the ad. Click it. Second, refresh the page. Yeah, it's a pain but it's all you can do sometimes. Finally, be careful of how close your cursor is to the ad. If your mouse cursor touches even the border of the ad, that's usually enough to send it full screen. I've been there plenty of times! Mouseykins
That is why I use an adblocker! The adds on Neo can lag games so bad and they're just plain annoying. I currently use uBlock Origin as my adblocker. hrtbrk and S_A
lakecat
I've used an ad blocker for years on Firefox and it does a good job of making the Neo experience go smoothly. However, recently I've noticed that, even though it blocks the ads on the black screen when a game loads, it takes a while before the game can be played. When did this change take place that causes the delay? I don't remember seeing the word Advertisement below the game screen in the past either. Has it always been there?
