They say that the easiest way is to ask "What do you do if fierce Peophins has eaten too much tin of olives"? and then whatever answer you want. All I've ever gotten in response to that is nothing and once I actually got kicked out of the castle for it. (Wrong avatar, but thanks!) Does that method still work anymore? I think you can only get the avatar by asking that exact question - no other question will work. Unfortunately, random is just that - random. Keep trying and I believe eventually you will get it.
