juniper
I loved parading around school in my costums. For many years I was a ballerina. life_eclectic

beenblessed40
Aww, that's sweet! I remember 5th grade because I dressed as Fyora. My mom made my dress and I got so many compliments! WhiteWolf
WhiteWolf
I entered a costume contest as Princess Leia, and won second place. Aww, that's sweet! I remember 5th grade because I dressed as Fyora. My mom made my dress and I got so many compliments! What a great idea! I would love to do something like that one year. kandygrrl
One of my favourite Halloween memories took place last year. I had made an amazing fursuit head. And at the end of the night there was a Halloween wrap up party at my Aunt's place, I went there and showed my family the mask I had made. EVERYONE loved it =
life_eclectic
I have many great Halloween memories, but 2 stand out: First, when I put my own costume together and did my own makeup for the first time. I was a werewolf and it was the classic 50s movie style. I was about 10 years old. I always liked to do makeup as opposed to wearing a mask, so I got a kit and I had a nose and brow piece that I blended in. I always did my own makeup and put together my own costume after that. In the following years I was a skeleton, vampire, zombie and various other characters. The other is the first time I and my sis got to stay out longer for trick or treating and we brought pillowcases that got filled up. The candy lasted for weeks and I remember my parents put a couple of pieces in our school lunches everyday.
juniper
I loved being handed candy! I thought it was some crazy mistake when I was really little. I've learned to love any holliday that gives me the chane to gift others. Even when I tripped and scraped my knee my dad would scoop me up and convince me to keep going. Ever since then i've reffered to him as the General. Nobody messes with my (his) halloween candy!
