Adian
/waves/ I am 21 and go by Adian for the most part. :P I'm a long time TDN user and an even longer neopets user. Like most people, I started around the age of nine or ten and have been playing on and off for years. Due to a recent "promotion" at work, I've found I have a lot of free time at night and have been spending hours on Neopets. My current account is seven years old and I'm currently trying to reinvest myself in Neopets by becoming a bit more active in the community. Else wise I'll drop off again and spend my free nights roaming the internet, border as anything~ Outside of Neo, I'm an avid gamer and roleplayer. I've got a mini-zoo at home and enjoy gushing about every single thing they do. I love meeting new people and would enjoy chatting with whomever. Anyway, I can't think of anything more to say but I'd be happy to answer any questions. le_neo_docteur

Adian
@ le_neo_docteur Thank you for the welcome, it's good to be back. I've been surfing through my SDB and finding a ton of stuff with an insanely high sell price. Gotta love inflation, no? @ Ranaki Thank you annnd, thank you~ Do you really want this list? :P All are rescues from my past two jobs as an SPCA worker and a pet store clerk. In total we have seven cats, a pit mix, two snakes (ball python and a black rat snake), two rats, three leopard geckos, three water turtles (map/RES/snapper), a few anoles, and two rats. I've slowly been downsizing due to costs and just rehomed my two full grown water dragons, I miss those two, but they were huuuuuge. I've also just taken down my 125 gallon fish tank due to the massive fish finally kicking the bucket. Everyone here is a rescue and has some sort of sad story or deformity to them. They keep me busy, hah. le_neo_docteur

In new zealand, however, it is not allowed :(.
Adian
@le_neo_docteur I'm going to be honest, I don't know where the majority of said items came from. Hah! Reptiles aren't allowed, or only certain ones? I've always found laws like that fascinating. I had ferrets for the longest time but they were/are illegal in a few states in the US and there wasn't any reasoning behind it, that I could see. Perhaps New Zealand doesn't want a non-native species getting loose? In Florida, in the USA, has a massive problem with ball pythons as invasive pests. It's gotten to the point that they're struggling to contain it, there are even shows on animal planet for "snake hunters." Makes me sad, I wanna go hug my blind ball python and remind him he has a great life.

Shelley
Oh my gosh, your mini zoo ^^ growing up my parents weren't really into pets. Fortunately they allowed me to take in my to cats but I'm dying to have a dog again. Really looking forward to moving out for the sole purpose of getting another dog haha. But I don't know if I could handle much more than a dog and a cat to be honest lol

We do have wild lizards and geckos, but to own any of them is illegal. Hmm we are allowed some types of lizards as pets; however, i am not sure what types. I think the government see them as a threat to our unique species of bird like the kiwi as they are having a problem with pests that the settlers from Europe introduced. Anyway i really wish there were snakes in my country, not just those you see in zoos but cute cuddly pets! On the note of your said items good luck selling them! Adian
@Rune Valentine Thank you for the welcome :) @Shelley I know what you mean completely. My mother stuck by the "when you can afford to get XYZ, then you can get it." Part of me wishes she hadn't told me that. I recently realized I work for the sole purpose of feeding these cats. @le_neo_docteur That makes a lot of sense, unfortunately. It's been proven time and time again it's the irresponsible pet owners who ruin it for everyone. Hence the problem in Florida. Thank you, by the way, so far I've cleaned out my SDB and put up some weird statue thing work like 800k, which I don't ever recall actually purchasing or acquiring.
