Rune Valentine
Answer: No stamp avatar is cheap. Because even if all the avatars are obtainable (not retired, or released from LC 10 years ago), the r99 stamps alone needed to finish an album will cost you at least 150mil each. That's if you can even get someone to sell it to you, and hope no one else overbids you. Currently, the Snowy Valley Stamp can be obtained, but without having to shell out a great deal of NP: Candychan Stamp - ~40mil Sticky Snowflake Stamp - ~150mil was the last one I saw Snowbunny Stamp - ~150mil Those three alone will require roughly 340mil :) Which should give you an idea of how much the other stamp avatars might cost... The Battledome Stamp Avie might be cheaper, but I've never even seen a Battle Slices Stamp for sale up, in the years I've been wanting to collect it. But I still collect stamps anyway because it's fun :P JN's Stamp Checklist helps a bunch so you can pick out which stamps will be the most affordable to you to start up your collection. nightfall8705, AJ11 and Mouseykins
Kyurri
http://www.neopets.com/~Stamp Apparently, Snowy Valley and Battledome is so far the cheapest but, it only cost less than others. It's still expensive. Most expensive is Mystery Island so good luck with that. AJ11

AJ11
Thank you all for the detailed feedback and help .... I would need mega millions if I wanted to go for those avatars *facepalm* ..mm that was a bit of a shock ...I was thinking millions but not many many millions sheesh ! well I guesse it makes sense, supply and demand and I certainly admire those people who have managed to make their collections up anyway I will check out the sites recommended and collect anyway just within my budget thanks
lovedwallflower
For OP, or anyone who is interested: if you are looking to expand your collection numerically (instead of by album) this guide is very handy and encouraging: http://www.neopets.com/~wubo ETA: I second the Narazok recommendation too :)

It needs updating on the prices, but that's much better than searching jellyneo and searching for stamps in a specific range!
