Is this allowed?

I know you're not allowed to have more than 5 linked accounts - 1 main & 4 sides, but would it be allowed to start a fresh set of accounts on a separate email, unlinked to other accounts and obviously no transferring of pets/ money/ items?

No, you are not allowed to more than 5 accounts, period. If you are not happy with your account names, then you can self-freeze them and start fresh.

Even if your emails aren't linked, your IP address will still show all the accounts linked with each other, effectively going against the 5-account maximum rule. So really, no, whether the emails are linked or not, 5 accounts are max for you.
