Uruguay 1 x Costa Rica 3 = I have a friend from Uruguay and a few years ago she sent me an Uruguay cap ... I was wearing it while the Costa Ricans were flying by Caseres and Lugano and scoring .. I was disappointed .. but Costa Rica were better and faster in the second half ... Ivory Coast 2 - Japan 1 = the game was very average .. it was 4am my time so i was nodding off most of the time ... the Japan center defenders are disasterous .. but the goal from Honda was really good. You are my fellow Bosnian-sister-slash-Argentina-hater! <3 Ivory Coast 2 - Japan 1 = the game was very average .. it was 4am my time so i was nodding off most of the time ... the Japan center defenders are disasterous .. but the goal from Honda was really good. But you saw them scoring two goals in less than 100 seconds, right? Riiiight?! That was SO epic! <3 And wow, just as I thought we were gonna have the first tie, Switzerland comes out of nowhere to score a second goal on the very last minutes of the match! Amazing! :D And I feel France x Honduras will be one of those humiliation matches... However, it must be considered that because high school take Girls Soccer much more intensely then Boys Soccer, however both Girls and Guys Soccer is both looked at the same. Partially because their economy didn't quite go to the crapper like a lot of places' did with the recent recession. Partially because their particular accent sounds stuck up. I'd say mostly for ANY and ALL reasons one can possibly think of! :D I'm still resenting the fact that the very first Cup match this year in Rio, in our classic Maracanã stadium, was an Argentina match and not a Brazil one. Dang! So today we have Iran x Nigeria (weird combination, but go Nigeria!); Germany x Portugal (that ought to be interesting...) and finally US's first match, against Ghana. People from Guadalajara are some of the nicest but craziest Mexicans I've met. I'm further up North but a few of my friends are from Guadalajara or want to move there because it's super liberal and basically not like the rest of Mexico (asides from the capital of course).
