agrinwithoutacat
We've got a thread explaining pet and neopet names, and it got me thinking about baby names.Do you have names picked out for your future children, or what did you decide to name your children if you already have some? (First and/or middle names only, of course, don't feel like you have to divulge private info.)For my future kids, my boyfriend and I have come up with some names: For boys we want Christobal Dean (named after my boyfriend), and Sebastian for sure. For girls, he likes Nadia and I'm cool with that. I can't remember some of his other suggestions, but I definitely want to name one daughter Allison, after my sister who passed away, or maybe use that as a middle name. I like Allison Starr, the Starr being my great-grandmother's middle name. It was going to be my sister's middle name initially, but my parents ended up going with Paige. I like Starr better. This is assuming I have enough kids to use all those names, though. I'm thinking I don't want more than four but my boyfriend comes from a big family and wants eight or ten, haha. We'll see how that goes.
.Brianna.
The hubs and I have been talking baby names for a while (no little ones in our near future though). The only name we are in complete agreement about is Kieran in honor of my dad's brother who I was very close to. For a girl I love the name McKenna - no special meaning there, I just think it's adorable :)
Novelista
Isis Lirio for a girl. I've wanted to name my daughter Isis since I was eight, even before She became my patron goddess. "Lirio" means "lily" in Spanish, but I liked it because it was the name of the good Witch/priestess in The Craft. (Her store was so cool!) Edouard Andreu for a boy. I don't want a boy, but it's good to be prepared. Maybe the traditional spelling (Edward Andrew), depending on the father. Also, I have a thing where I want my daughter to have my surname, but if I have a son, he'll have his father's. Unless his father has a really crazy surname, like "Porn". (Yes, there really is someone in my area with that name! He works for Epic/NRA, a polling group.) In that case, I'll "pull down" Lynd from my mother's side (it was my grandmother's maiden name), since the only one left with the Lynd surname will probably never get married. I think "Edward Andrew Lynd" sounds kind of nice. ^_^ (Oops. I forgot about my cousins Adam and Trevor, who I never see anymore. Oh well...so there will be three boys to carry down that surname!) nightfall8705
For girls, I've always liked Serena/Serenity, Lily, Rose, Anneliese, Cassandra, Catherine, Sydney, Samira, Samara, Sera, Elena, Anna, Lena, Saphira, Brenda, Ivy, and Mina. For boys, Darren, Damien, Sephan, Devon, Sebastian, Jesse, Gavin, Alexander, James, or Gabriel. I've always loved certain letters more than others. I've named my cars after names I like (White Lightning, Nami, Serena Raye, and Mina Rose) and my kitty's name is Sydney Cassandra. My little cousin is named Serenity Rose, which irked me as that was my first choice to name my daughter if ever I had one. I still may call my future daughter that name. I've had it picked for years before and my elder (but still younger than me) cousin knew this before she ever had a kid! Nobody says I can't name my future kid whatever I want though, so I'll still use it if I want to. If I do decide to have children, I hope I have a boy first, so he could protect his younger siblings. His name has been picked out for years too. Sephan (pronounced "sef-an") Gabriel. (Sephan, not Stephen or Steven - people think it's that name and it drives me nuts!) I have another little cousin named Gabriel, but my next choices for sons are either Alexander James or Sebastian James, My younger brother almost had a child with his girlfriend, but it wasn't meant to be... The name they picked was AJ - Aurora Jewel for a girl, or Axel Jericho for a boy.

Hert123
I always dreamt about naming my future daughter Mara. Or Tamara. Sebastian or Valentine are really pretty names in my opinion. No plans for kids the next 10 years, though
calliecupcakespeace
I really like the name Ashlynn or Calista! Or maybe something like Elena,,,,,
leverhelven
I really like the name Ashlynn or Calista! Or maybe something like Elena,,,,, Hahaha, it's funny because "calista" means the person that does your toenails here in Brazil :P Calisto, on the other hand, is the name of a follower of the Goddess Artemis. Her - Calisto's - story is very beautiful and sad... Anyways, I don't really plan on having kids. But when I was a teenager, I wanted to have a girl named Aurora, as a homage to my late Grandmother <
Saxen
Oh gosh... I have a list as long as my arm xD I hope to have three children. In a perfect world I'd have a boy and two girls. The boy would be named Leif (or possibly Roscoe), but I can never properly settle on the two girls names. I like Lillith & Lyra, but I have a whole bunch of names somewhere in my room that for the life of me I can't remember any more of at the moment as it's 3.30 in the morning xD .... I'll be back *fades menacingly into the darkness* EDIT: And Root & Rune1!!! How did I forget about those D: (for girls) Although.... Leif and Root O.o haha Nubisbully
Nubisbully
Wow. I feel kinda bad that I actually have a baby but never really thought about baby names until I was about 5 months pregnant. I'm not expecting to have another one for another couple years but I'd like to find something that matches my first. His name is Corvo meaning "raven." I'm a big fan of many of your names Saxen. I debated "Leif" and "Rune" myself but they didn't fit properly. Also like "Rhett" and "Rip". I'm rooting for a girl so I can call her "Gaige" possibly.
