In most countries around the world , today is Mother's Day as well as the first day of Spring ..

 

Here's to all the Mothers here ... Enjoy this day .. take a vacation from the kids ;)

Really??? I had no idea either :P Here in Brazil we celebrate it on the second sunday of May, so still quite some time to go :D

I was searching around and the date is different in my different counties.

That is the website that had the most information on dates.

It looks like, Angelo, where you live celebrates today and surrounding counties, but most counties actually celebrate on the same day as the US does, which is the second Sunday of May.

 

Still, we should probably celebrate multiple times a year anyways, since without a mother, none of us would be here, same with a father.
