Dashana
Yep, I'm pretty sure you all have heard this question many times. Jhudora and Illusen quests, are they worth it? I've been really wanting a Bartamus for one of my pets, but the only one on the TP with a price is 15M. So what do you think? Are they worth it or not? Why or why not? Emily
They can be worth it, but it's a little random. Some people are extremely lucky and don't get asked for items that are too rare or expensive. However others repeatedly get asked for items worth millions or items that are so rare, no one's selling them. Personally, I find a good strategy is setting a limit for yourself in how much you're willing to spend per item. If she asks for an item over your limit, don't complete the level and start over. The last time I restarted Illusen's questline, I was able to get up to level 37 before I got asked for an item over 500k (which was my spending limit per level). One other time I was doing her quests though, I got asked for an item worth over 1 mil around level 20. I guess whether they're worth it or not depends on what you want to get out of it. If you want to get the prizes to sell for profit, they may not be worth it, as you could spend more for the quests than the prizes are worth (especially if you get asked for a super rare item that you can't find partway through and have already bought pricey items for previous levels). If you're completing them because you really want one of the items and can't find a seller, then that would, to me, be worth it. paperdoll66
Rune Valentine
They do give out some pretty spiffy prizes, but it's really up to you on whether or not you're willing to spend a ton of NP when there's uncertainty on the next item they're going to ask for (if they're even sold or if you can get them in time). I think that's why most of their higher level prizes are pretty expensive. Often, they ask for UB/rare items on quests over level 20. I personally just went for the avatars and was done with them. I tried for the trophies, too, but I could never remember to do them in time xD
010_pipsy_010
Pwesonally I do not think they are worth it past about level 20. I just attempted level 22 of Jhudoras quest and the item she asked for was going to cost about 600k from the Trading Post. Although it is random so it all depends... leverhelven
Yeah. They're usually doable up to level 20, probably so people can get the avatars, but after that it gets crazy. I got to level 20, got the avvie, and when I tried for level 21, I got a, unbuyable that wasn't even on the TP. So...
paperdoll66
Personally, I have never attempted to go farther than level 25 on either quest. It could be worth it if you want one of the later prizes for your own use. If it was me, I would think about how long it would take to save that much np and when it would not be an efficient use of your time and np. I would definitely recommend picking a date where you quit and start saving and a maximum that you are willing to spend total and for each quest. crazy_cat_luv_bb
No, I don't think it's worth it at all unless you're trying for trophies or avatars. The price of the lower level are always junks. Even for the trophies, you have to time precisely to go there and do the quests, which takes time.
