Sell Sell avatar help please (stockmarket avatar)

Hi everyone :)

 

I have tried to obtain the Sell Sell avatar today, but it does not seem to work (probably me doing it wrong).

 

I bought shares from two different companies and it cost me over 1 million NP, but when I viewed my portfolio nothing happened?

 

Do you know what I am doing wrong?

Just making sure it's under the "Paid" column of the "Totals" row that's valued at over 1mil NP.

 

Also, if one oft those stocks in VPTS, that might be what's causing the problem. Since it's over 1000 per share, buying 1k shares a day would automatically give you the avatar. Check to see if under VPTS "Paid" value, it will only show you 1,000; instead of 1,000,000 if you bought 1k of it, for example. This will make your Totals not match up to what you actually paid for. So say you have 1k of one company at 15k "Paid", your VPTS that is also at 1k shares will only show up as 1k "Paid".

 

Also, check your Chat Preferences to see if the avatar is there, maybe you just missed the RE :)

A tip is:Buy KSON at 11:59 NST PM and again at 12:00 AM NST. Then sell both so you dont lose any money.

Hi, thank you for your answer. I read somewhere that it won't work if you only invest in KSON ?

Basically what Rune Valentine was saying is that if you bought a stock that cost over 1000, ie. VPTS, you won't get the avatar because there's a glitch (it doesn't show up properly in your portfolio).

 

Use Finn's suggestion and invest in KSON. It will work. Just make sure you buy at 11:59pm NST the first time and not 11:58pm or before because the market's last change of the day is at 11:58pm. This way you won't risk losing any money.

 

You probably read somewhere that KSON won't work because at the time that that person updated their site, KSON probably cost over 1000.

Are you sure you bought 2000 shares for 2 days?

 

11:59 PM NST: Buy 1000 shares of KSON

12:00-12:27 AM NST (Preferably earlier): Buy another 1000 shares of KSON

AFTER YOU BUY AT 12:00-12:27 AM NST: YOU WILL RECEIVE THE AVATAR AT THIS TIME.

After you bought 2000 shares of KSON, sell it immediately.

I'll try to do it the KSON way! I also thought KSON didn't work, 'cause it says so in the Avatar checklist on TDN.
