Emily Posted December 27, 2012 Posted December 27, 2012 Quitting because you're losing is technically against the rules no matter what type of game you're playing, people are just less likely to report you if it's a 3 or 4 player game because the game continues after you leave. If you don't like playing longer games, it's probably better to stick to 2 or 3 player games. Quote

miemieh Posted December 27, 2012 Posted December 27, 2012 If you really have to go, tell the people you have to and that you're sorry. They would appriciate that. If you know you have to go in+- 5 mins, play only with 2 players or don't play at all. The 4th place isn't that bad, you always win NP. You also could get junk when you win. Quote
karmacow Posted December 27, 2012 Posted December 27, 2012 It's a gamble you take when you start a game. You may not win, you may even be last. You gotta be okay with that, because if everyone quit, there would be no winners. So finish your games, it's for the common good ;) Quote
crystalsjoy Posted December 28, 2012 Posted December 28, 2012 By my experience, it's rarely that someone reports players for that, but it's still kinda forbidden. If you need to run in a middle of a game, tell the people using the sentences that tnt put on the chat. And if you are in a run before, don't play. :) Quote
sarria33 Posted December 30, 2012 Posted December 30, 2012 It is forbidden? I did not know that, and I don't think it should be. I shall do research on what TNT has to say about this. Sometimes I have to quit the game because key quest stops working on my computer. Quote
karmacow Posted December 30, 2012 Posted December 30, 2012 I've quit games because the game stops working. It's widely regarded as acceptable to quit in those cases, but of course, those you play with have no way of knowing that you didn't just quit because you didn't feel like playing anymore. Quote
livvy Posted December 31, 2012 Posted December 31, 2012 My policy on quitting is: Don't do it unless you absolutely have to and then shoot the other players a neomail saying why you had to go. It's just courteous. ESPECIALLY if you had to quit a 2-player game. Neo's policy on quitting is: Regardless of the reason, it'll still affect the reliability indicator, so you shouldn't do it.
