I added an important note to our guide this morning. If you manage to get all the snowballs and melt them you will get one of each item. You can't get duplicates.

 

I clicked the snowflake in the animation and got my bonus prize and snowball there.

This is one of my favourite times of the year <3 although the value of the stuff is pretty much automatically 1np or something crazy I always think they put a decent amount of thought into the prizes which I always think is nice :P

I'm guessing that means that in total, everyone is going to get 10 snowballs, and maybe they come out on different days for different people?

I used some leftover NC today to get the mittens (which turned wearable, yay!) and got:

I haven't received a Snowball in a few days. I'm finding this really fun to click on the snowflake and never know if I'm getting one or not. It makes it a nice surprise. :-)

No, you need the mittens :( But I'm not sure if they're still for sale.

The mittens are still for sale until January 6, 2013, so only a few more days left to melt those snowballs.

I just shelled out $10 for the snowballs. >_< I hate how neopets solicits money this way, but I guess it works in the long run because I just spent my money on them. Haha.
