Just to clarify:

as with most NC events you are allowed to do this on your side accounts, you do NOT have to join a Pirate/Ninja team to participate, so you are not allowed to claim the free 100nc on sides as this also results in the giving of extra np items.

 

Your Team affiliation will not affect the NC choices, you can use both Keys on the same account or on side accounts regardless of your Chosen GMC team.

 

You do not have to collect Prizes on the day they are given, and so if you activate a key on the last day, or on any day of the event you will be able to claim past prizes.

After the event had finished, TNT later neomailed participants who had activated the Techo Master Key apologizing for the similar NP/NC swords awarded to team Ninja. Another item was awarded in addition to all items collected during the event. this was for Ninja key users only.

I'll be keeping an eye on the prizes, to see if I'm interested (Since I actually have a good amount NC and didn't spend it the minute I got it, like I usually do.)

 

I totally love the Day Two prize for Captain Threelegs. That background is absolutely gorgeous!

I kind of want to get the key to the pirates one, but I don't want to buy NC yet. If I plan on buying NC say the last day of the GMC, can I still get all the prizes, or just the one on the last day?

That was my thought too! I love the BG, but that's it from the pirate one so far. I love the Ninja dress, and that's really it from that one. o_O

I really wish the keys weren't so expensive. I like the way they did it with Edolie's Fantastic Finds better. I do like the Ninja Dress and the Ninja Shadow Attack thought. :-/

I love the wigs that Lulu has been "finding" ;) I'm a ninja myself, but I'm thinking that the pirates should appreciate Lulu's plundering ways (even if it means less loot for Cap'n Threeleg). Almost makes me wish the Neopian winter season was over so that I could re-customize my pets ^-^

the smoke bomb i think i would actually use? :( maybe. i think todays items were kinda weak, but the Ninja room is saved by having 2 spectacular items, the Pirate room only really has the background so far...

okay, apologies for the late forum update for yesterdays items i was really tired and busy yesterday. :(

 

so far pirate continues to disappoint me, so glad i didn't give in and buy keys at the start, saved me some money there ;)

 

the ninja items also continue to be meh, that dress is super fantastic though, but another garland.. i have doubts i would ever use that, or consider it worth spending real money on.

 

hopefully the next few days items will improve :)

Yeah, there's a small difference. The "stick" (or whatever) is held in the right hand in one of them and is lying on the floor in the other.

well GMC is over Lulu-raid wise, your thoughts and opinions on the whole event?

 

personally the pirate prizes (apart from that beautiful background) were a disappointment, given it is NC and real money.

 

the Ninja stuff had the wig and that gorgeous dress with its lovely detail to save the pack, and i can see the smoke bomb and the bracers also being useful in a number of customisations.

 

TNT have really been churning out the NC wearables all year, it never ends! holiday shop is coming up, Stocking Spectacular is sure to return (broken code has already been sighted in the mall)

 

i would however prefer quality over quantity, some of the prizes, especially what was pulled with the sword, were a bit weak.

i wasn't the only one who noticed the swords, probably someone mailed in complaining or TNT noticed this board? :P

Since there's no fun in getting two almost identical items, we've added Tranquil Meditation Tree to your inventory to make up for it. We hope you like it!

An additional item (Tranquil Meditation Tree) has appeared in peoples inventories. as with any code awarding items, it was done alphabetically. it should have finished now but as it was being awarded it changed names several times and disappeared/appeared a few times.
