Having customisation problems

Not only does Shockwave Flash keep crashing (which is something I ALREADY made a topic for, this is something different entirely), I am having problems saving changes to my pet. After customising my Cybunny I got a BLANK error message when trying to save. Just ERROR #(numbers) and nothing.

I had this problem the other day and it was an item causing it. However there wasn't even a conflicting item, I just had a background and one item, but for some reason it didn't like that particular hat or whatever it was...I'd try taking off some items and seeing if that helps. Although if you really want that item (and there's no conflicting areas), as snwflk said, I guess you will have to send in a ticket.

sadly for alot of people, Closet is just not working. It is an issue with Flash, and with Neo. some tricks to try:

- clearing your cache *you will have to look it up for your specific browser*

- ensuring you have the latest version of Flash *actually sometimes older versions work and newer ones don't. seriously annoying*

- making sure your browser is up to date

- restarting browser and/or computer after clearing cache

- using a different browser, suggested ones are Firefox, Chrome. but you may also have to try IE, Opera, Safari

- using a different computer with a different OS. sometimes it will work on a mac, not a PC, or in reverse. i actually found after it stopped working in 5 browsers in both Mac and Windows that using Firefox on a linux computer worked.

additionally try removing unnecessary items from your closet. this issue is most frequently reported for people with large closets, although people with only a few items have also reported issues. in any case if your Closet is over the limit (in the case you have manually overridden the limit of 600? or 700? i forget, in your user settings) it will be longer to load.

good luck, and do send a ticket into TNT as well, but its likely they will suggest the same thing, sadly no-one has managed a "fix" yet, you just have to keep trying, and keep updating browser/flash until it does.

mine refused to work last month but with the recent update is now working on all computers and browsers. a friend reported the exact opposite, she's very angry at the moment as she can't get in at all to customise.

regarding your customisation not being saved:

it may be that you have used the item on another pet, in which case, you need to remove it from the other pet, save that change, then go back to your other pet to put it on.

also this can happen if you have used the preset customisation option, it means you cannot use it on other pets. to remove this you will have to go and check ALL your pets.

- top of the window next to the save changes button is a button labelled presets

- each pet name will come up with active configuration, preset #1, preset #2

- you will have to individually load each preset to check if you have one saved. you have to click loaad, the preview option does not seem to work.

- you need to remove all items in a preset, and save your pet's now blank custom in the same way (presets > pet name > save current configuration to this preset (to the necessary preset)

there is no easier way that i know of to clear presets. :(

Edit: as i wrote all this, my closet now refuses to load in Firefox on Mac. it worked yesterday. *sigh*
