Here is my link again if someone wants to help me: http://imgur.com/xUeui Try: Y1 R3 B1 R1 B3 Y2 B2 R2 Y3 Help me please :( I've tried rotating from other people who have similar ones as mine.. but it just isn't working! Here you go: B3 B1 Y2 R3 R1 B2 Y3 Y2 R2
flash_mimi_09
Hey! I don't know if this is possible but instead of telling us the answer, could you explain HOW to do it please? This way we won't have to ask everyday.. Thanks :)
Moggy
Hey! I don't know if this is possible but instead of telling us the answer, could you explain HOW to do it please? This way we won't have to ask everyday.. Thanks :) It really depends on the clues. You have to arrange them so that: You don't have 2 squares the same You don't have 2 different things trying to go in the same square. The clues can overlap but can't be rotated. Then you fill in the gaps so that you have 3 of each symbol, 3 of each color, and no 2 squares the same. So you end up with one each of R1, R2, R3, B1, B2, B3, Y1, Y2, Y3. I'd work through some of the puzzles that already have answers in this thread and try and get the hang of it! Good luck! :) the problem is mine seems to have the third symbol being yellow twice which makes no sense. Here is my link again if someone wants to help me: http://imgur.com/xUeui I'll use this one as an example. If you put the tall clue on the left and the other on the bottom you get: R? ?1 ?? Y3 Y3 B? R1 B3 ?2 There are 2 Y3 squares so that is obviously wrong. You need to put the tall clue on the right and the other at the top to get: Y? R3 B1 ?1 B3 Y2 ?? R? ?3 Now we fill in the gaps. We have a B3 and R3, so ?3 must be Y3. Y? R3 B1 ?1 B3 Y2 ?? R? Y3 We have Y2 and Y3, so Y? must be Y1. Y1 R3 B1 ?1 B3 Y2 ?? R? Y3 We have Y1 and B1, so ?1 must be R1. Y1 R3 B1 R1 B3 Y2 ?? R? Y3 We have R1 and R3, so R? must be R2. Y1 R3 B1 R1 B3 Y2 ?? R2 Y3 So the final square must be B2. Y1 R3 B1 R1 B3 Y2 B2 R2 Y3

Wisteareia
Just when I thought I had this all figured out to explain how I figured it out as I did so, I found that no combination I expected has solved my puzzle. This one is really not making sense to me! Rather than re-do all my images and just post for a solution help.... could one of you excellent solvers please help me sort out what I've done wrong here? http://wisteareia.bl...-negg-cave.html because ur on a crappy tutorial. every one isnt the same. u must use your head to figurethese out http://www.tdnforums...-cave-tutorial/ Sorry, you're not understanding what I mean :) I have tried to use my head to figure this out, but I need help. The crappy tutorial is the one I'm trying to make myself, for myself, to explain what I'm doing. Where did I go wrong? Thanks if anyone else could make a better pointer. Moggy
Sorry, you're not understanding what I mean :) I have tried to use my head to figure this out, but I need help. The crappy tutorial is the one I'm trying to make myself, for myself, to explain what I'm doing. Where did I go wrong? Thanks if anyone else could make a better pointer. You can only have 3 of each symbol, so you need to overlap the clues. The 2 clues for symbol 2 (the fire) overlap in the top left corner. The 2 clues for symbol 1 (shield/square) overlap at the bottom middle square and also with the one already in the center square. This means that no 2 squares are the same. Hope that helps! Here is the solution: R2 Y2 Y3 B2 R1 R3 Y1 B1 B3 By the way, in your tutorial you say "Some patterns may have multiple possibilities so one possible solution may not solve it." Almost all the puzzles have only one possible solution, there are a couple with two though.

Moggy
Could someone help me with this? I have no idea what I'm supposed to be doing. :P RYB - red, yellow, blue(purple) 123 the symbols from left to right 1 = square/shield 2 = fire/volcano 3 = swirl/flower Start with the big clue: Y? B? Y? B1 ?? ?? ?1 Y1 B? There is now only one place the tall clue can go, in the right column. There is only one place the long clue can go, in the top row. There is only one place the final clue can go, in the top right corner. Y2 B? Y? B1 ?3 ?? ?1 Y1 B3 Now fill in the gaps so that there are 3 of each symbol, 3 of each color, and no 2 squares are the same. ?1 must be R1 because we already have B1 and Y1. Y? must be Y3 because we already have Y1 and Y2. B? must be B2 because we already have B1 and B3. Y2 B2 Y3 B1 ?3 ?? R1 Y1 B3 The remaining 2 squares must be R2 and R3. Y2 B2 Y3 B1 R3 R2 R1 Y1 B3 Hope that helps! :)
