Moggy
This is my first puzzle and I am completely lost! Help would be appreciated! Put you biggest clue in first: Y? ?? B? B? ?? Y1 Y? B1 ?1 As you can't have 2 squares the same and you already have Y1 and B1, ?1 must be R1: Y? ?? B? B? ?? Y1 Y? B1 R1 There is now only one place the tall clue can go, in the left column. Y? ?? B? B? ?? Y1 Y2 B1 R1 There is only one place the long clue can go, the top row. Y? ?? B3 B? ?? Y1 Y2 B1 R1 There is one one place the diagonal clue can go, in the center square. Y? ?? B3 B? ?3 Y1 Y2 B1 R1 Now we have used all the clues, we need to fill in the blanks so that there are 3of each symbol, 3 of each color and no two squares are the same. We have Y1 and Y2, so Y? must be Y3. We have B1 and B3, so B? must be B2. The remaining squares must be R2 and R3. Y3 R2 B3 B2 R3 Y1 Y2 B1 R1 Hope that helps! Moggy
Im way confused Each of your clues has the R2, so these need to overlap, which gives you: B3 Y1 ?? B2 R2 Y2 B1 R3 R1 No 2 squares can be the same so the remaining square must be Y3. B3 Y1 Y3 B2 R2 Y2 B1 R3 R1 Hope that helps!
Kizzykins
Thank you so much! I think I understand now. I greatly appreciate your step by step solutions. =) I read the guide, but that puzzle seemed so much easier than mine, but I get it now. Again thank you! Bestghosts
thank you so much, but i still don't get how it happened. like there's only 9 squares in the grid but 12 clues. I also don't fully undestand the R2 and such things yet. I'm so confused.
CuteSigma0426afan
Yay! the second one works! FoorKing
Could someone help me with my puzzle, and also could someone explain how you're supposed to solve them? I genuinely don't understand what I'm supposed to do, and it looks like it's supposed to be easy, but it's not at all if you don't understand it. :/ ---SOLVED---
Moggy
thank you so much, but i still don't get how it happened. like there's only 9 squares in the grid but 12 clues. I also don't fully undestand the R2 and such things yet. I'm so confused. RYB - red, yellow, blue 123 the symbols from left to right 1 = square 2 = fire/volcano 3 = swirl/flower If you look at your top left clue and your bottom clue, they both have the "red flower" R3 and the "red fire" R2. Because you can only have one of each square, these overlap - they are the same square! You can therefore join these clues together to get: B2 R2 Y2 B1 R3 R1 Your last clue has a "red fire" R2 and a "blue fire" B2, which again join on to what we already have. B3 Y1 B2 R2 Y2 B1 R3 R1 Could someone help me with my puzzle, and also could someone explain how you're supposed to solve them? I genuinely don't understand what I'm supposed to do, and it looks like it's supposed to be easy, but it's not at all if you don't understand it. :/ This is a nice easy one to explain! RYB - red, yellow, blue 123 the symbols from left to right 1 = square 2 = fire/volcano 3 = swirl/flower Put your biggest clue in first. It can only go in one place, the left column. R? ?? ?? R2 ?? ?? R3 ?? ?? You need 3 of each symbol, and 3 of each color, and no 2 squares can be the same. Therefore R? must be R1. R1 ?? ?? R2 ?? ?? R3 ?? ?? The blue clue must go in the middle column, the top space must be symbol "2". R1 B2 ?? R2 B3 ?? R3 B1 ?? The final clue must therefore go in the right column. All 3 squares must be yellow. The top space must be symbol "1". R1 B2 Y1 R2 B3 Y2 R3 B1 Y3 Hope that helps!

Does anyone mind helping me out? Please and thank you. If you put the bottom clue (?2 R3 Y1) in the top row and the left clue (Y2 B1 ?1) in the left column, it should be pretty easy to work out. Here is the answer: Y2 R3 Y1 B1 Y3 R2 R1 B2 B3

Can someone help with this puzzle? http://s1054.photobu...nt=cf85d708.png You need 3 of each symbol, 3 of each color, no two squares can be the same. The only way your two clues can fit into the grid is by putting the left clue on the top row, and the other on the bottom row, which gives you: Y2 ?1 B1 B3 ?? R2 R3 ?2 Y1 Now you just need to fill in the gaps. You have a Y1 and Y2. The only place Y3 can go is in the center square. Y2 ?1 B1 B3 Y3 R2 R3 ?2 Y1 ?1 must be R1. ?2 must be B2.
