No need to fear when you come across another Battledome challenger via a Random Event. Even though the Down For Maintenance Pteri is not one of those challengers, there are other secret challengers that appear only through Random Events that are actually key to getting a certain avatar (I.E.: The Black Pteri) or a requirement of Defenders of Neopia (I.E.: Commander Garoo).
