Tedhaun Posted July 15, 2012 Posted July 15, 2012 This is just a rare special event that can happen once at anytime for all users. No need to fear when you come across another Battledome challenger via a Random Event. Even though the Down For Maintenance Pteri is not one of those challengers, there are other secret challengers that appear only through Random Events that are actually key to getting a certain avatar (I.E.: The Black Pteri) or a requirement of Defenders of Neopia (I.E.: Commander Garoo).
