Lol congrats!!! I love it when that happens!! Something similar happened to me - I left neopets for about 4 years, came back, checked my stocks, and one of them went up by about 2000% >< That was pretty much the only time anything fortunate happened to me on neopets. :P

I would definitely wait a bit longer! I try to wait until they're above 50 or so, or around 200%. It can be hard, but then you're rolling in the gold. :D

Ugh, I have the opposite problem of everyone...I can never bring myself to sell! Once a stock I had went up to 300, and then went back down again, without me selling a single share, because I wanted it to go higher XD

I don't think there's really any difference in how the individual stocks work. You just gotta sit tight and hope they increase in value.

I've always assumed the stocks are either random or using an algorithm to determine their price. In any case, the best thing to do is sit back and wait until they rise back up again.
