Either call them, or email the premium people -- when I signed up for the free trial, there was a email address provided to contact, which I did to cancel the trial. FK423
Ok cool thanks. I dont want to cancel the trial. I just want to keep it for one month. Do you think they could do that?
Haliaetus
I think you can, as long as you contact them and cancel before they bill you for the second month. I'm pretty sure in the US you have to call to cancel, unless things have changed since I canceled my membership.
Emily
If you use paypal, I think you can also cancel by unapproving the subscription payment from your paypal account.

Yes, that should be fine. :) People must want to cancel the service all the time, so it should be no problem.

karmacow
Back when premium was originally launched, you had to send them a fax with identification (or something, they wanted a fax for sure) to cancel. I had accepted a premium trial to check it out, but decided against keeping it. So I contacted support and I remember it being really bothersome to cancel it. But when I brought up the fact that you can delete your account completely by the click of a button, it suddenly became really simple to revert to basic :D

That's the only reason I'm trying it out again- I love the SSW, but the hassle isn't worth having that for a while.
karmacow
For sure. There are better ways to keep your customers than trying to chain them to your product.
Ashbash
I'm glad you don't have to cancel that way either. I probably wouldn't have gotten premium if you had to call. I have bad experiences with that type of thing. I'm a big Big Brother fan and always subscribe to their 24/7 live feeds. They make it so difficult to cancel. You have to call and then they never let you cancel when you call. They give you another month free and then you have to call or email to cancel at that point. And then they usually mess it up.
