Butterfly_Kika
Right this is mostly for my own personal use right now, but if others are willing to comment/offer advice I will take it. Things I know: Train Defense, Strength & HP and ignore Movement Max = 2(lvl) stats ~ Defense, Strength & Movement Max = 3(lvl)+3 ~ HP As I said this is mostly for me to keep track of things. Post words of encouragement if you wish. In fact I would love help with figuring out what I should equip this pet with/what abilities I should go for. Now onto the pet! Presenting Flash_20033 the Red Uni! Pet Lookup Here Current Stats: Level ~ 40 HP ~ 64 Strength ~ 74 Defense ~ 65 Movement ~ 30 Currently Training: Strength Yes I know the stats are not stellar for him, but before I really started reading things here I had no idea what I was doing. For training I am bouncing between the Academy and the Training School. I am using stuff stored in my SDB at the moment. So when that is gone I have no idea what I'm going to do. As to what he currently has for battle, here is a list: Scarab Ring Snowager Sword Leaf Shield Lesser Healing Scroll Downsize! Green Frost Canon For abilities he has all the ones he can currently obtain except the last two from the light faerie if I remember right. They are all unfortunately at level 1. This is mostly because I am not a fan of the wheels. Once again, anything you folks could offer for advice would be helpful.
zeldafable_rebel
mmm... I know most people don't really train movement, but if you're considering a good stealer, you might want to train movement for the affordable Heavy Robe of Thievery, which requires 200 movement points... but that's just an idea. ^_^ If you have the NP, I'd say get some better weapons, such as a Greater Healing Scroll for healing and maybe the Scarab Ring or Golden Compass. check around TDN's battlepedia if you haven't already - they have tons of weapon reviews, tips, and info! =)
MysteriousUser
You need to upgrade the outdated weapons and shields and understand the mechanics of the battledome. You need to start saving NP for better weapons. Here's a good place to start: Beginner Batledome Sets Also just for future reference: Stat Boosters
Butterfly_Kika
Training continues! I changed his Battledome equipment around, and have yet to try it. Yeah that is about it for now... besides the fact that I forgot to get his one-use only item...
MysteriousUser
Oh you really don't need a one use item all the time, you could repace that with another constant, shield, or dual duty. Only certain situations may be favorabe for using single-use items.
Butterfly_Kika
Right, so I went and bought a lot of stuff to pay for training... I am now down like 400k, but Flash shall be battle readish... maybe...
Dynohawk
Right, so I went and bought a lot of stuff to pay for training... I am now down like 400k, but Flash shall be battle readish... maybe... Should aim for 55 Strength and Defense boost.
Butterfly_Kika
after this round of training in HP I'll go for strength and defense. I find it interesting that the Academy will only train HP to be twice as high as the pet's level. Just tried it and it wouldn't let me train it higher than it currently is. Secre
Never realised that the Academy wouldn't let you train to 3x HP...that's slightly odd. Dynohawk is right though; you want to get your strength and defence to the stats boost level of 55 and then re-focus on hp. If you get HP to double then go back to Attack and defence so you don't end up paying more codestones then get HP to triple before being forced to train level again. Hopefully that made sense? Butterfly_Kika
it does, but I was going to max out HP for this level then move onto the other stats, but if it is better for me to train something else right now I will. Just got a Water Faerie quest... She was nice enough to give Flash two points in his defense stat. And it was a cheap book to boot. "Sandcastles" I was able to buy 2 for under 4k. Read one to my Grundo and gave the other to the faerie. Strength is now being worked on. I'm gonna get it up to 59 or so before going onto defense and then working that one up. Wish I could get a hold of that Faerie Fortune cookie though... but the NC shop is always sold out when I look.
