Angeló
I have the money to buy a Pirate Draik Egg ... however .. even though I deep down really want a Draik .. I'm afraid I won't like it much after a while and it'll be a burden .. the problem is I have a nice name for a pet and I'm thinking about having a girl Draik to go with the name ... I have no other "dreamies" ... I thought about lots of species and colors .. mainly Royal Girls .. but I don't see myself really attached to any of them ... like when I planned on making Elishat RG Ixi and ended up morphing her into a Christmas Zafara .. but it'd be a real shame to morph a Draik , don't you think ? and I won't be trading either because of the name (it holds a personal meaning to me)
Xepha
Get a Draik... if you get tired of her, you can repaint and mix the pb clothing. :D
GuardianAwesome
I'd say if you really want one, then you should go ahead. They're so deflated now that while they're still expensive, it's nowhere near as much of a loss than a year or so ago. Draiks can be amazing for customization, so that's good if you get tired with her look.
Kaana
I would say... oh this is tricky! I'm afraid I'm gonna phrase it wrong. What I'm seeing is that there's this name you really love, and you want to use it on some pet, and you kinda want a draik, sortakinda, but you're afraid if you don't like her after a while you'll just feel stupid and it'd be weird to morph a draik. So, WHY do you think it'd be weird to morph a draik? Just because of the value associated with them? The main point here seems to be you want this name to go perfectly with the pet. So focus on the relationship between the name and the species/colour - if you need to morph her sometime, do it! It's more important that you are happy with the visual representation of this name that you obviously hold dearly, than having a draik. If a draik works right now, sure, do it. If at some point a mutant ogrin is more appropriate, do that. Whatever you look at and think "yes, that's her". Your choice. :
MaraquanEyrie
Based on what you said I say go for it you can always change what the pet looks like but you cant get a name that has already been taken.
hrtbrk
You said it yourself - "I really want a draik ... I have no other dreamies" Go for it! You can always paint her a different colour or try your hand at trading if you come to like something else :) I also had a bit of reservations about creating a pirate draik, but plan to paint her many things. Right now she's gold - if I get tired of that, I may paint her Christmas or even basic (thankfully Turnip Tonics are cheap). All while I save up for Water or maybe even Plushie! I think a part of it is actually completing a goal/dream pet and then you're like... now what. But I created some other 'goals' to achieve for her and it's fun/makes me feel less guilty for creating her.
Jacky
Totally, YES!!! I was sooooo happy when I got to hatch Gunnslinger ("The Gunnslinger born" :P )! You should totally do it. Like the rest said, you can always repaint. Tehre are so many pretty draik colors! And if there really are none you like, there is no shame in morphing a draik, as long as YOU want it. :D
April
If you have no other dreamies, go for it! =D
Alexandra Puppyblew
I would say do it. Even though you don't really see yourself getting attached, you just might surprise yourself and end up really liking her. Even if you might want to change her from a draik to something else in the future, if you really like the name, just do it. There might be a chance that the name won't be available in the future.
