Naamah D.
Have you ever pounded one of your pets and decided to re-adopt them? I pounded my Hissi last night to re-adopt my Kiko, but then I decided I liked Hissi better than Kikos and pounded my Kiko to re-adopt my Hissi. Alexandra Puppyblew
I've never pounded a pet I've created. Sometimes I have adopted a pet to get an avatar and then pounded it again, but that's the only time I've pounded a pet.
lilshadowdweller
I had pounded a Tonu along time ago - I had no desire for her anymore. I had hoped she'd go to a good owner, unfortunately, the owner who obtained her was frozen shortly after. I haven't disowned any created pet since. I do foster pets, but they are never created by me. Naamah D.
I made a rash decision when I pounded my Hissi for the Kiko I created. I'm lucky Serpy didn't get adopted! I think pounding is a terrible thing! @lilshadowdweller Yikes! That gives me a very good reason not to pound anymore pets!
Cassia
Well unless you count pound transfers between my accounts, then I've never actually pounded a pet before :P
daisy08
I've pounded a couple of pets but didn't readopt them. I don't think anyone else has adopted them either.
lovedwallflower
ive just pounded a pet i created.. i created him as a red pteri and specifically named him a really nice name to turn him magma or fire. but i went off him and i guess someone else can love him more than i did.. there's nothing wrong with pounding :P

Angeló
I never re-adopted a pet I pounded because they always got adopted and I replaced them with another pet I desired more .. some of them are on abandoned accounts now , which is sad , but I don't regret it ... I was also abandoning them , so hopefully they will get purged sometime ...
behemothrules
I don't think I have ever abandoned a pet I created myself either. But there isn't anything wrong with it ^_^
Rebeka
Yes, I pounded a Maractite Usul I didn't like, and she was stuck in the pound for a long time. I wanted to adopt her back, but didn't have the space anymore. Then I found a person who wanted a Maractite pet and I told her about my Usul. She adopted it, but now she's starving on her side account :( The new owner put her UFA, and I've neomailed her several times about adopting her, but withoud anwser. I really regret pounding her. Since that, never pounded a pet I created. I once adopted a Grey pet, for the avatar, and then pounded it back. Edit: Just went to check the Usul and found her in the new home, happy, fed and nicely customized. I feel much better now :)
Saxen
Yes! When I came back from a reaaal long hiatus I could remember one of the names of one of my pets from years ago - and he was in the pound! I adopted him out after that but it was pretty cool to find him again ^_^
emmz_emmz_
I've never re-adopted a pet that I've pounded, but the ones that I created myself that I pounded, I often wish I could when I see them in a new home and they're starving or just been left :( I only tend to pound when I have to though - I've only just started using side accounts so I've only ever had room for 4 pets, and some opportunities were too good to pass up on! Trig
I've pounded pets as it's sometimes been necessary, but I've never re-adopted them. Usually they get adopted out pretty quickly because they are almost all painted. I hope that by pounding painted pets someone will get some joy out of them. I hate pounding, but at least I might make someone happy :)
keiwo
I've never readopted a pet I've pounded. I'm not a huge fan of pounding because I try to put a lot of thought into my pets prior to creating them but sometimes I might decide that I don't want a pet anymore and I think ultimately it's better for it to go to someone who does want it and will look after it than for it to stay with me where it's just replacement fodder. I sometimes adopt and then repound pets for the sake of avatars and I've only just stopped feeling guilty about it ;p
passiflora
I've pounded pets as it's sometimes been necessary, but I've never re-adopted them. Usually they get adopted out pretty quickly because they are almost all painted. I hope that by pounding painted pets someone will get some joy out of them. I hate pounding, but at least I might make someone happy :) This. With the exception of avatars, I've pounded very few pets, and only after I've advertised for adoption on the Pound boards. Usually it's painted pets that I've let go, and when I check back on them they've been adopted within a day, so I couldn't take them back even if I wanted them. :P It's just nice they've found new homes. sarahesque
Way back when I first started Neopets, I had a bad habit of creating new accounts but wanting to keep my old accounts, so I pounded pets to transfer them... I just searched their names, the first two were apparently purged, and the third is on a frozen account. =/ But since those days (and keep in mind, I was 9, I had a short attention span), I haven't pounded any pets :P Though I don't think there's anything intrinsically bad about the pound.
