Naamah D.
So I recently made some Memes that aren't so appropriate for TDN. Nothing vulgar, nothing threatening but I have a very dark, twisted sense of humor. Can you get in legal trouble for Memes? What would be the reasons for getting in trouble for them? Alice ☮
Depends on what you mean by "legal" trouble. Do you mean just with TDN or do you mean trouble with the Law, as in, in real life? The former is far more likely than the latter. I suppose it depends on context. How bad were they? I've never heard of any bad memes before (at least, none that come to mind at the moment). GlitteryCupcake
People post Neopets related memes on Reddit all the time: http://www.reddit.com/r/neopets
hrtbrk
The meme police are very strict. and non existant.
Masaryk
Unless you are posting videos of real-life crimes that you are taking part in or witnessing, you are not likely to get in trouble with the police. I don't know about in the US and other countries, but in Canada, if you post pictures of minors (this includes yourself, if you are under 18) that show nudity, you can get charged with making and distributing child pornography. However, posting images or videos that contain disturbing images, inappropriate language, or cartoon violence should be fine. ;)
-Ryan
Lol i've never heard of anyone getting into legal trouble for a meme. Would certainly be a funny news headline though.
