Though I couldn't find any rules about it (I do know that English should be used in posts, since this is an English language forum.), it'd probably be best not to even start something like that. Mods would have to start translating the member titles to make sure it wasn't inappropriate. I was only mentioning it as a joke, not as a suggestion. :P

The official word is in. I discussed it with Anime. Foreign language member titles aren't allowed. It's only okay it's a common word or greeting like "Hola". Anything beyond that can't be used.

Hola mis amigos! :laughingsmiley: Haha, that is how I greet my friends all the time because they all take Spanish in school. I take Latin. :D

I wanted to take sign language in school, but it was never offered. My mom took Spanish, my sister took German, and I don't know what my dad took.

Yes but, CA also has a bigger population. Plus, that's not counting all the illegal immigrants in AZ that speak spanish. That's atleast another 50k or so. :P

French was mandatory for me until Grade 9. It was optional after than, so I took French in Grade 10 too. I hated my teacher, so I didn't take it in Grade 11, which I totally regret. My French is terrible now. :sad01_anim: I really feel awful about it, because I would really like to be bilingual, but I feel like I don't even have any way of improving my French, since I don't really have anyone to converse with. I can still read French fairly well, but I'm really bad at speaking it.

No other languages were ever offered in my high school, but I did take one semester of Ojibwe (the local native language) in college.

I tried learning Spanish, but I struggled because I'm a visual learner. I've always been interested in sign language, and would still love to learn it formally. (I taught myself in 6th grade.)
