Tyler. Posted January 6, 2011 Posted January 6, 2011 i was about to say you get the couch who gets control over the remote? Quote
-Ryan Posted January 6, 2011 Posted January 6, 2011 We will. Your room will be like, on the other side of the hotel and you'll still hear "OW CAV. THAT DOSEN'T BEND THAT WAY. I WONT GIVE BACK YOUR IPOD UNTIL YOU STOP BREAKING MY ARM" Last time i was in a motel, my gameboy fell off a three story ledge, I had to sleep on the floor, and the bathroom ceiling was in peices on the floor. Not fun. I don't like motels. You and CAV decide that. I'll just bring a book anyway. Quote
Spritzie Posted January 6, 2011 Posted January 6, 2011 I always loved staying places. I was always dying to go to the swimming pool. Quote
-Ryan Posted January 6, 2011 Posted January 6, 2011 Tbh, I don't like leaving the house much. Would definatley be fun with you guys though. xD Quote
Spritzie Posted January 6, 2011 Posted January 6, 2011 I'm the opposite. For some reason, I don't like being home a ton. It drives me crazy. Quote
-Ryan Posted January 6, 2011 Posted January 6, 2011 But home is where the internet connection is. Plus, I have a bit of a fear of people. At school when i'm with friends, i'm insane. I will walk up to a random dude, hug him, and walk away like nothing happened. In fact i've done that before. I'f i'm not with friends though i'm silent and try to avoid looking ast anything but the ground. I'm weird like that. And I just don't like people... Quote
Spritzie Posted January 6, 2011 Posted January 6, 2011 So? I hate people too. But traveling isn't necessarily about people. It's about the sights. At least for me. Quote
-Ryan Posted January 6, 2011 Posted January 6, 2011 I just don't like being around people. Especially ones I don't know. Quote
Spritzie Posted January 6, 2011 Posted January 6, 2011 So with family or friends, and ignore everyone else. That's what I do. When my husband is at work, talking to a bunch of people, I hide in our corner. :laughingsmiley: We were there for 1.5 years before he started working there, and most of the employees there still don't know me. :laughingsmiley: Quote
-Ryan Posted January 6, 2011 Posted January 6, 2011 Lol, due to my lack of peoples skills most of my family barely knows me so at family things I always end up going off to a corner or go outside or something to be alone... xD Lol! xD Yay for hiding in corners! xD Quote
Spritzie Posted January 6, 2011 Posted January 6, 2011 I do that too. Every 4th of July, my grandpa's family had a sort of reunion. I hated them, but went because that was something my cousin did when she came up from AZ. I swear I wasn't related to any of the people there. (And I wasn't, except by marriage.) Quote
-Ryan Posted January 6, 2011 Posted January 6, 2011 Lol. That must've sucked. Sorry about that. D: Oh yeah, the lady that does house cleaning and cooking and stuff for my grandpa has a 4th of July party every year and always invites us. Well he couldn't go last time(Because it was when my grandma was still alive, but she was bedridden and he stayed to take care of her she needed constant care) so I went alone. I spent two hours sitting on a rock watching the street, then somebody talked to me for a while, and then I left. I'm a definite party animal. :P Quote
Spritzie Posted January 6, 2011 Posted January 6, 2011 I've never liked big groups. I like spending time with a couple close friends instead. Quote
-Ryan Posted January 6, 2011 Posted January 6, 2011 Same here. I went on a house boat trip over fall break. Only knew half the people there(Yay for huge families!) So I mostly spent my time in my room thing, outside fishing alone, or up on the rocks that had agreat veiw of the lake. Fun. xD Quote
Spritzie Posted January 6, 2011 Posted January 6, 2011 The only time I had a fairly large group of friends was in 8th grade. After that, I didn't have many. And it's rare for much of my family to be together at the same time. I don't even see my sister very often anymore. Quote
-Ryan Posted January 6, 2011 Posted January 6, 2011 Really? I have a rather large group of friends both at TDN and in rl currently. xD Coincidentally, i'm in 8th grade... xD And you know what, I don't call half my r frielnds by their real names. Becca = Shirley, Taylor = Supreme Overlord, Seth = Bucky, Christain = Jewish(...Yeah...), Gabe = Midget, Chester = Cheetoh, ect... xD Quote
Tyler. Posted January 6, 2011 Posted January 6, 2011 I'm amused you call your friend Christian Jewish is he Jewish, cause that'd be ironic Quote
-Ryan Posted January 6, 2011 Posted January 6, 2011 No, I just like to call him random religions, but I call him Jewish more than anything. Quote
CAV of Gang Green Posted January 6, 2011 Posted January 6, 2011 ... Stoned faeries? Theres just something wrong about that. Faeries aren't supposed to be stoned... Glad to see that someone finally got the joke. Quote
rugrat0ne Posted January 6, 2011 Posted January 6, 2011 I only have a handful of friends, at least irl. I usually have more online friends than other friends. But then, I've been diagnosed with Social Anxiety Disorder, so... And I love to travel for trips and such, but the rest of the time I'd much rather be at home than out around town. If I'm out too long, I start getting really twitchy and need to get back home. It's a safety zone for me. Quote
Anisha Posted January 6, 2011 Posted January 6, 2011 The only time I had a fairly large group of friends was in 8th grade. After that, I didn't have many. And it's rare for much of my family to be together at the same time. I don't even see my sister very often anymore. I prefer just a single or 2 best friends over a large group. I would die if I won't be able to see my brothers anymore. Well, you talk to your sister on the phone sometimes, right? Quote
Spritzie Posted January 6, 2011 Posted January 6, 2011 I would die if I won't be able to see my brothers anymore. Well, you talk to your sister on the phone sometimes, right? Nope. I rarely talk to her. She has her stuff going on, I have mine. But in 08, I lived with her for 2 months before I got my own apartment. And I saw every day at work. Plus, we never got along all that well. Ryan, in 8th grade, none of us called the other by their real name. We all had nicknames too. Like Zilla, Batman, Trip, Ding Dong, Captain Nemo, Phantom of the Opera, etc. And there were always stories of how the nicknames came about. Quote
Divya Bean Posted January 6, 2011 Posted January 6, 2011 At my school, we dont have major nicknames like that. I am called Div, if that makes sense to you. :P I love my sissy. :D Most of the time. Quote
Spritzie Posted January 6, 2011 Posted January 6, 2011 I had some strange friends. It took me from 6th to 8th to gather them all. It started with just me and a girl I grew up with in 6th. Quote
Tyler. Posted January 6, 2011 Posted January 6, 2011 I have a small group of friends the closest things to nicknames we have is we call one of my friends his middle name because he hates his first Quote
