-Ryan Posted January 2, 2011 Posted January 2, 2011 Oh. ... That's nice. ... The removing part sounds kinda painful, though. Quote
Spritzie Posted January 2, 2011 Posted January 2, 2011 They knock you out for it. (At least they did when my sister and I got ours removed.) It's a little painful for the healing. (I didn't do well with it. But my sister was fine.) It depends on the person. Quote
jumpingbeans Posted January 2, 2011 Posted January 2, 2011 Removing teeth actually isn't painful. They put this freezing stuff on your mouth, so it feels like your cheek is ginormous, but, other than that, it's painless Quote
Spritzie Posted January 2, 2011 Posted January 2, 2011 This isn't the same as teeth pulling though. They have to surgically remove the teeth. Quote
-Ryan Posted January 2, 2011 Posted January 2, 2011 I got a mental image of a guy in one of those doctor outfit things punching somebody and then yanking out their tooth with plyers after you said that. ... What's wrong with me? Quote
jumpingbeans Posted January 2, 2011 Posted January 2, 2011 ^ I just figured out how to use these. Yeah! I got a mental image of a guy in one of those doctor outfit things punching somebody and then yanking out their tooth with plyers after you said that. ... What's wrong with me? Nothing. You're Ryan. That's how your supposed to think. Quote
Spritzie Posted January 2, 2011 Posted January 2, 2011 That doesn't sound pleasant. o_O I don't think you're completely normal though. :P Quote
-Ryan Posted January 2, 2011 Posted January 2, 2011 Thank you, JB. xD And how did you do that? :O Tbh i'd go to the dentist more if that's how they did it. That is very true Spritzie. Btw, I just had an interesting conversation with someone who dosen't speak english very well on another website. It took me a while but I figured out that he wants to have a 1 vs 1 battle with me once hes ready. (It's a strategy/greek war website.) I should never be an ambassador or diplomat. (It starts at the bottom) Oh, okay then. You do that, and I will be waiting. ...Bye. Spritzie Posted January 2, 2011 Posted January 2, 2011 :laughingsmiley: Stuff like that is fun. A lot of the people I deal with at work, are outside the US. Their English is good, but often they have some strange phrases that it takes me a few minutes to figure out what it is they want me to do. Quote
jumpingbeans Posted January 2, 2011 Posted January 2, 2011 What you do is, you go and reply, and then, look down, and you'll see 'Options' Click on 'Click to configure post options', and the smileys to start the page are at the bottom Quote
-Ryan Posted January 2, 2011 Posted January 2, 2011 Lol, my ability to understand things like that is about as good as my geography skills... xD @JB I'm too lazy to do all that... xD Quote
Spritzie Posted January 2, 2011 Posted January 2, 2011 It takes getting used to, but once you figure out the common phrases, like "Do the needful", you've got it. That one got me, because I didn't know what they wanted. But they use it as a phrase to clean the drives. Quote
-Ryan Posted January 2, 2011 Posted January 2, 2011 Wait, it means clean what? Like, clean the dirve-way, or...? -confused- Quote
Spritzie Posted January 2, 2011 Posted January 2, 2011 Tape drive. Like the tape drives we use for the backups at my job. Kind of like cleaning your VCR when it gets dirty. Quote
-Ryan Posted January 2, 2011 Posted January 2, 2011 Ohhh I get it. I didn't get what you said, and then the only thing I could come up with that it could mean... Well i'm just pretty sure that wasn't it... And now i'm still not fully sure what it means but i think I got it. xD Quote
jumpingbeans Posted January 2, 2011 Posted January 2, 2011 Lol, my ability to understand things like that is about as good as my geography skills... xD @JB I'm too lazy to do all that... xD It's actually pretty easy once you know it. Just click the plus below your post while your typing. Though you can't 'Quick Reply' Quote
CAV of Gang Green Posted January 2, 2011 Posted January 2, 2011 :laughingsmiley: Yep. Totally full. Every time I try to send you something, your inventory is full *sigh* Stupid advent calender. Mkay, I've got space. What's wrong with me? You don't want me to answer that. Quote
Spritzie Posted January 2, 2011 Posted January 2, 2011 I already sent it CAV. A couple hours ago. Did you get it? I put all my Advent stuff in my SDB immediately. The one day I didn't, the Pant Devil snatched one of my items. Quote
-Ryan Posted January 2, 2011 Posted January 2, 2011 Thank you for holding back, CAV. I can't do that then. I never use the full reply thing. Quote
CAV of Gang Green Posted January 2, 2011 Posted January 2, 2011 I already sent it CAV. A couple hours ago. Did you get it? I put all my Advent stuff in my SDB immediately. The one day I didn't, the Pant Devil snatched one of my items. Yeah I got it. Thanks. :) If the item was wearable, I put it in the closet with the exception of a few. If it was food, I fed it to the pets since they're dying. If it was something else, I either put it in the SDB or I just forget about it. Quote
jumpingbeans Posted January 2, 2011 Posted January 2, 2011 Yeah, I don't use the full reply thing much either. Only for replies and multiquotes. Quote
-Ryan Posted January 2, 2011 Posted January 2, 2011 Lol, I love that other site I mentioned earlier. If you have a navy, and someone tries to pillage or occupy your town over seas with trade ships, they get turned back. This guy I pillage alot has had that happen to him atleast 7 times so far while attacking me and he still hasn't figured it out. The internet is a wonderful place. I can't even remember the last time I used the multi-quote thing. I'm still proud I know how to use it, though. xD Quote
jumpingbeans Posted January 2, 2011 Posted January 2, 2011 I know. I don't use the multiquote thing much either. Just takes too much time. Quote
Manta Posted January 2, 2011 Posted January 2, 2011 Fast reply and multiquote are my best friends xD I have to say, it's nice to be on a real forum again because the neoboards were making me sick lol :P Quote
-Ryan Posted January 2, 2011 Posted January 2, 2011 Yeah, I prefer forums like this, now, too. xD The Neoboards don't even have an edit button! -shudder- Quote
