CAV of Gang Green Posted December 27, 2010 Posted December 27, 2010 Come back to NY Spritzie! I went to bed at 3 AM last night, but I tend to wake up early regardless. Don't know what happened here.... I've only been to a few places (Jersey, Pennsylvania, Buffalo NY, Canada). Quote
Spritzie Posted December 27, 2010 Posted December 27, 2010 I want to. :( I was 7 when my family went to NY. There's so much I want to see that I would appreciate more now that I'm older. Quote
-Ryan Posted December 27, 2010 Posted December 27, 2010 I went to bed at 12:30 or so. I wish I had some sort of interesting story about why, but really I just fell asleep reading... xD -Grabs Tyler and drags him to NY- -throws three plane tickets at Spritzie- TO NEW YORK! Quote
Spritzie Posted December 27, 2010 Posted December 27, 2010 3 tickets? So I'm supposed to grab Divya and Anisha on my way? (Though Anisha would be slightly out of the way, but completely do-able.) Quote
-Ryan Posted December 27, 2010 Posted December 27, 2010 Yes. -hands fourth ticket- Bring your cat too. -nodnod- ... Wheres Pensylvania(However you spell it)? All I know about that place is that Philidelphia is there. This knowledge comes from many hours of playing Madden as the Eagles. -nodnod- Quote
Spritzie Posted December 27, 2010 Posted December 27, 2010 Pennsylvania is south of New York and east of Ohio. Quote
CAV of Gang Green Posted December 27, 2010 Posted December 27, 2010 Yay! I'm getting visitors, even though you wouldn't be able to land in NY due to the snowstorm that has shut down all the subway trains, several bus services and lots of stores! For anyone that is interested, visit the Pokemon topic. I made an edit to my last post, seeing how a release date and trailer have been revealed today for Black/White. Quote
rugrat0ne Posted December 27, 2010 Posted December 27, 2010 You haven't been to Vermont yet, Spritzie? This must be rectified! I'd love to go to Europe some day. Spend like a month and go all over the place. The farthest I've ever been out of the country is Montreal and some Mexican border towns. Quote

Spend like a month and go all over the place. The farthest I've ever been out of the country is Montreal and some Mexican border towns. No I haven't. Every one I've been has been to visit family, or family vacations. I don't know anyone in Vermont. I want to go all over Europe. Germany, Ireland, Japan, and Egypt are highest on my husband and I's To-Visit list. Quote
CAV of Gang Green Posted December 27, 2010 Posted December 27, 2010 Even though Japan and Egypt aren't in Europe? :P Nah, I know what your talking about. I would visit Egypt as an endurance challenge. If the Amazing Race is still around when I become of age, I would hope that Egypt is one of the places to visit. But the place I want to visit most of all right now is Holland, for rather obvious reasons. Quote
Spritzie Posted December 27, 2010 Posted December 27, 2010 I wasn't grouping those with my Europe statement. :P For me, Germany because my family is German. Egypt because I love the culture. For my husband, Ireland because his family is Irish. Japan because he loves the culture. Quote

Well, I guess we'll have to get to know each other better so you have an excuse to visit. Not right now though, we're up to our Kaus in snow. Japan would be cool. So would Egypt. Heck, so would a lot of places. I'd love to have the money to just travel everywhere. Quote
Spritzie Posted December 27, 2010 Posted December 27, 2010 :laughingsmiley: Ugh, snow seems to be so many place right now. I despise snow. (And I'll say no more CAV. ) Me too. I just want to travel. Anywhere, everywhere. I want to see so many things. Quote
CAV of Gang Green Posted December 27, 2010 Posted December 27, 2010 :laughingsmiley: Ugh, snow seems to be so many place right now. I despise snow. (And I'll say no more CAV. ) Snowstorm buried entire city. Most trains shut down. Most buses delayed. Stores closed down early. Very windy. And I love the snow. Sorry Spritzie. But even the slightest bit from you starts the law. :P Quote
rugrat0ne Posted December 27, 2010 Posted December 27, 2010 You must have gotten more snow than we did in VT, CAV. Or else I'm so isolated here that I don't know what's going on outside my own yard. Quote
Wembly Posted December 27, 2010 Posted December 27, 2010 We got almost 30 inches in like 14 hours here <_< The stupid storm got stuck right over us. Oh an don't forget the 40+ mph winds that are still blowing through. Stupid blizzards! We had to take the glass out of the front door to get out of the house since there was even too much snow to get out the window. Ridiculous! Quote
CAV of Gang Green Posted December 27, 2010 Posted December 27, 2010 I can't tell the difference between the sidewalk and the street. The snow is that much. Quote
rugrat0ne Posted December 28, 2010 Posted December 28, 2010 Wow. According to my little tape measure, I've only got about a foot of snow on the back deck. Quote
Spritzie Posted December 28, 2010 Posted December 28, 2010 Snowstorm buried entire city. Most trains shut down. Most buses delayed. Stores closed down early. Very windy. And I love the snow. Sorry Spritzie. But even the slightest bit from you starts the law. :P I guess so. :laughingsmiley: It wasn't intentional! Plus, everyone likes complaining about snow. It's a little cool here. 44 degrees. Quote
CAV of Gang Green Posted December 28, 2010 Posted December 28, 2010 Nah, I love the snow. I just hate the ice afterwards. 25 degrees and very windy. Quote
-Ryan Posted December 28, 2010 Posted December 28, 2010 I wanna go to: Asia(Friend there, and I wanna go to China to have chinese food. And I wanna get an Indian accent cause Indian accents are awesome.) New York(I have like 4 really close friends in NY that I wanna visit.) Denver(I wanna meet Spritzie, and see a concert with The Fray playing) Pennsylwhatever(Meet Divya, and see an Eagles game) And I wanna go to Mexico to see if living in AZ for so long really helps with your spanish. In no particular order, except for the first two. I wanna do those more than the others. Quote
Spritzie Posted December 28, 2010 Posted December 28, 2010 In Mexico, just be aware that if you go to a Starbucks and ask for an iced drink, they will ask if you mean on the rocks. :laughingsmiley: Quote
-Ryan Posted December 28, 2010 Posted December 28, 2010 ...Wait. So if you say yes they put rocks in your drink? :eh: Quote
Spritzie Posted December 28, 2010 Posted December 28, 2010 :laughingsmiley: No. "On the rocks" is a term for when you're drinking certain alcoholic drinks, and you just want it poured over ice. Quote
-Ryan Posted December 28, 2010 Posted December 28, 2010 Oh... I guess that makes more sense... xD ... Although now I wonder what a drink with rocks in it tastes like... Quote
