:)Doc Posted October 27, 2010 Posted October 27, 2010 The scaley looking things scare me :worried: Waaaaaaay off topic, but does anyone know when the Game Challenge starts again? :laughingsmiley: I just got back on Neopets tonight ^_^ (I haven't looked), but is it on there, or does someone just know? :graduated: Quote
The Score in Blue Posted October 27, 2010 Posted October 27, 2010 Probably. I have no idea. Why is math your opponent? I've been meaning to ask... just haven't. Quote
jumpingbeans Posted October 27, 2010 Posted October 27, 2010 Math is my friend. I placed high in a Canadian math competition! Quote
antiaircraft Posted October 27, 2010 Posted October 27, 2010 As a Numb3rs fan, I must say that maths is epically awesome. It helps us to unlock knowledge in ways which we would never have thought possible. :D Quote
Divya Bean Posted October 27, 2010 Posted October 27, 2010 Agreed with AA! I love Numb3rs and it just shows everyone the awesome uses of math in a very interesting show. Quote
antiaircraft Posted October 27, 2010 Posted October 27, 2010 Not to mention that the plot and the characters are great too. Quote
Spritzie Posted October 27, 2010 Posted October 27, 2010 Agreed with AA! I love Numb3rs and it just shows everyone the awesome uses of math in a very interesting show. Me too. They made it enjoyable for everyone, even people who had trouble grasping the concepts. Not to mention that the plot and the characters are great too. Agreed! It was such an amazing show! I'm really going to miss it. :( Quote
jumpingbeans Posted October 27, 2010 Posted October 27, 2010 I've been watching Doctor Who. It's really cool, going through time and space, battling monsters and aliens. Quote
CAV of Gang Green Posted October 27, 2010 Posted October 27, 2010 Why does everybody continue to mention Num3ers. Sorry guys. My dad took my lato away (again), and he took away the keyboard for this comuter. The keyboard I am currently using has a broken p button, so you'll have to do without it. Whenever it's su66ose to be there, I'll 6ut a 6, so you know what is su%%ose to be there. Quote
Divya Bean Posted October 27, 2010 Posted October 27, 2010 Not to mention that the plot and the characters are great too. Agreed! I especially love the plots because they are always different and so amazing. Me too. They made it enjoyable for everyone, even people who had trouble grasping the concepts. That is totally not me. Why does everybody continue to mention Num3ers. Cuz it is the most amazing show ever! b) Quote
CAV of Gang Green Posted October 27, 2010 Posted October 27, 2010 Cuz it is the most amazing show ever! b) I thought you were talking about Num3ers. When did The Sim6sons enter the conversation? Quote
Unstream Posted October 27, 2010 Posted October 27, 2010 I'm personally not a big fan of the Simpsons. I think it falls under the "stupid funny" category :/ Quote
Divya Bean Posted October 27, 2010 Posted October 27, 2010 I thought you were talking about Num3ers. When did The Sim6sons enter the conversation? :laughingsmiley: I'm personally not a big fan of the Simpsons. I think it falls under the "stupid funny" category :/ Me neither. I understand the jokes and everything, but they just arent that funny. Quote
Spritzie Posted October 27, 2010 Posted October 27, 2010 Why does everybody continue to mention Num3ers. Like Divya said, it's one of the best shows there has been in recent years. It had all the right content. I thought you were talking about Num3ers. When did The Sim6sons enter the conversation? I never liked Simpsons. But then again, I've never liked shows like that... Family Guy, The Simpsons, etc. Quote
Divya Bean Posted October 27, 2010 Posted October 27, 2010 Family Guy isnt that great either. But I like it better than the Simpsons because it is less crude. Quote
Spritzie Posted October 27, 2010 Posted October 27, 2010 I don't really enjoy comedy type shows. I like the dramas, like Numb3rs, Criminal Minds, CSI, The Mentalist, etc. Quote
Divya Bean Posted October 27, 2010 Posted October 27, 2010 I love all of those shows, but I like watching some comedy shows like Glee and some others. I dislike those cartoon ones though. Quote
Spritzie Posted October 27, 2010 Posted October 27, 2010 I'm not a big comedy person. I usually dislike comedy movies as well. I guess I just like more serious stuff. Quote
livvy Posted October 28, 2010 Posted October 28, 2010 I'm personally not a big fan of the Simpsons. I think it falls under the "stupid funny" category :/ EXACTLY. I never liked Simpsons. But then again, I've never liked shows like that... Family Guy, The Simpsons, etc. I haven't either. I'm not a big fan of that kind of humor. I prefer puns and intellectual jokes. Quote
Tyler. Posted October 28, 2010 Posted October 28, 2010 I like it when things are both funny and serious Quote
:)Doc Posted October 28, 2010 Posted October 28, 2010 Probably. I have no idea. Why is math your opponent? I've been meaning to ask... just haven't. Because I'm in 8th grade, but in Algebra 1 (a 9th grade course) and I'm not doing too well... :P Quote
antiaircraft Posted October 28, 2010 Posted October 28, 2010 As far as comedy goes, I've never really liked shows that are primarily comedy that much, but I've always appreciated serious or semi-serious shows with a great sense of humour. One of the reasons I like Leverage so much is that it often manages to pull off an amusing spin on just about everything. Quote
Tyler. Posted October 28, 2010 Posted October 28, 2010 I completely agree with you AA, although I've never seen that show Quote
-Ryan Posted October 28, 2010 Posted October 28, 2010 AA, go watch Whose Line Is It Anyway on youtube. RIGHT THIS INSTANT, MISTER! The youtube user, 12medbe(something like that) puts up the best quality for Whose Line videos btw. -high fives Doc- Yay for 8th graders! xD Quote
:)Doc Posted October 28, 2010 Posted October 28, 2010 -high fives back- Yeaah! Except compared to the eighth graders last year, our year isn't all we thought it was gonna be :( Quote
