I'm actually personally not planning on going to my prom :P

Now I don't have to worry about asking someone, getting the money to go, or figuring out how to dance.

I'm one of the lucky ones. I had glasses, but over time my eyesight just improved.

o.0 eyesight can just improve? I wear contacts....and when they say that carrot juice improves eyesight it's totally not true...it does turn your skin orange though *nods* :P

 

and I never go to proms. Why bother when you can just host a nice party over at your own house? And better yet: If you want to make a fool of yourself you get to do it in front of friends and not total strangers who just happen to be at the prom

That is so not fair, Will! My eyesight keeps getting worse. (It strikes me that y'all have never seen my glasses, because by the time I record anything, I'm at home and no longer need to see distance.) I'm very proud of my glasses, and I think they complement my face nicely. (...And I kind of failed at contacts. So.)

My eyesight has been the same since I got my glasses 5 years ago. But my glasses changed 3 times though, since I would break them.

 

Note to self, don't put your glasses in your pocket when playing sports. You will fall and break them in half.

I suffer from pretty bad myopia. :yes: My eyesight's gotten consistently worse over time - that's the main reason I've had to get new glasses. The amount of time I spend reading books and computer screens doesn't help much. xD

I should probably still go in for eye check-ups every now and then. The eye doctor told me it might fluctuate from good to bad, so we'll have to see. I haven't noticed not being able to see far though.

You might just not notice. I didn't know I had issues with my eyesight until I got glasses. I just thought everyone saw the way I saw. Then I put my glasses on and was like "MUM! The trees have LEAVES on them!!"
