Noog
I have lots of homework... but I'm doing none of it b)
livvy
:O Bad Noog! Do thine homework! *looks in mirror* You too, Livvy! In fact, I'm going to go do 10 math problems, and I won't post again until I have.
Noog
Well none of it is for a grade or anything :P Well, my algebra II is but we have a substitute teacher tomorrow.
Unstream
Haha well I only had 6 problems. And it was just some Algebra review. I dunno, I decided I should do my homework. Not doing it on the first day of school might leave a bad impression x_x And it was all pretty easy anyway. For my Physics lab I just had to calculate the mean and the standard deviation for some test results that took 30 seconds to get in class :P Edit: Yeah, I don't like when teachers give things that are "just for practice". Those are just a waste of my time, so I actually usually don't do them :P
livvy
I like "just for practice" work. As long as they're not checking it, I don't have to do it unless I feel I need the practice.
CAV of Gang Green
Homework will be tough in my new school.
Divya Bean
Heh heh heh...everybody is discussing there homework and I have not until next week! :P
CAV of Gang Green
Same here. But I can't think of a good topic. And for the love of Mercury everyone, please don't make a food topic.
Unstream
So I had this amazing cheeseburger today...:P
Kuroida
@divya: makes you feel good doesn't it? :P But aren't you even a little bit anxious for the next school year? I'm stuck between the "can't wait till school. I get to see everyone again" and the "summer was too short! School can't start yet!" phases........kinda like purgatory really :P
CAV of Gang Green
Will I am aware that that's a joke, and I will quote it, buuuuuuuuuuuuut.... And for the love of Mercury everyone, please don't make a food topic. This was here.
livvy
Everything devolves into food. It's inevitable. It's Laura's Law. Unless of course, you want me to start talking about the acceleration of gravity on a frictionless cart on a 20 degree inclined plane. I'd be happy to do so. :P
CAV of Gang Green
I'd like to go away from Larua's Law for once, and find something that can fit as CAV's Law (not trying to be cocky). But I'd much rather talking about the type of science that you can see in my siggy.
livvy
Astronomy is Physics. Yep. So we can talk about Physics.
CAV of Gang Green
I'd much rather talk about the specific class of physics that is Astronomy. Seriously, any thoughts on CAV's Law? cause I got nothing.
Kuroida
so this is what happens when we get bored eh? Talk about school and its subjects? :P Btw, you guys get astronomy as a seperate course? o.
livvy
No, CAV just really likes astronomy. The most specific subject of Physics we get is AP Physics B.
Kuroida
wow. I don't even know what that is lol. I'm taking physics next year and chem....I'm gonna fail chem -_- but physics I should do OK :S Got any tips? :P
IrishLiz
My homework is making biology homework for undergrad biology. Does that make sense? haha. EDIT: plus I have to read some developmental biology papers.
CAV of Gang Green
I aspire to be an Astronomer, no matter the challenge. But my school doesn't have an Astronomy class. But I'm given the option to create a club.
livvy
My homework is making biology homework for undergrad biology. Does that make sense? haha. o_O No. No it does not. Or maybe I'm just being slow. Tips on Physics? Hm... learn the equations, and you'll be good to go. Make drawings when possible. Not only are they helpful, they also look smart. ;)
IrishLiz
I'm TAing a biology lab this semester (so I'm teaching it) which means that I have to come up with the worksheet that my students are going to turn in. That's my "homework" for the night.

The fate of the student's marks rests on your shoulders....note that if you make it too hard the students might hate you for life especially the hard working ones....no pressure :P
livvy
OHH! Now it makes sense. =] Sorry; I've got Physics on my brain right now. Complex English structures don't compute. :P
Kuroida
and the conversation died.....on an unrelated note. In the trades. what's it mean by "tp?" I figured I might as well ask here since it's the most active this time at night edit: well. I'm an idiot. I just bought a petpet laboratory map for 20K worth of items thinking it was the secret laboratory map.... I think I should go to bed now before I do something else stupid. Night whoever is here
