-Ryan Posted August 15, 2010 Posted August 15, 2010 Wasn't this in like the 70s or so yesterday? o.o Quote
Theresa2 Posted August 15, 2010 Posted August 15, 2010 oh I love chocolate Ill have some too num :P Quote
livvy Posted August 15, 2010 Posted August 15, 2010 That almost seems a bit mean though. But I must admit, I'm enjoying watching it. :laughingsmiley: And yes, Ryan. Yes it was. We're just prodigious posters. Quote
CAV of Gang Green Posted August 15, 2010 Posted August 15, 2010 And Livvy, feel free to use this in the future. It's more fun than plain old linking. :P I've seen that, and I use it. But I didn't use it here because I thought when it says "Was that so hard?" it would be considered flamming here. Finally, some good weather. I just finished raining and it's now 73 degrees. Ah.... Quote
Aidensmomma Posted August 16, 2010 Posted August 16, 2010 Great, now I want hot chocolate, but it's suuuuuuuper humid where I live, so I'm already sweating. Quote
Spritzie Posted August 16, 2010 Posted August 16, 2010 I'm the same way. I sometimes crave things, when the weather doesn't call for it. Like hot chocolate during summer, or ice cream during winter. But I love both things. Quote
livvy Posted August 16, 2010 Posted August 16, 2010 Hot chocolate and ice cream are acceptable in any weather. And humidity is unacceptable at any time. <_< Quote
Spritzie Posted August 16, 2010 Posted August 16, 2010 Colorado rarely has high humidity. We whine here, when it gets above 10-15%. Quote
Aidensmomma Posted August 16, 2010 Posted August 16, 2010 Hot chocolate and ice cream are acceptable in any weather. And humidity is unacceptable at any time. <_< Agree!! I live in NH, so it's extremely humid here. Quote
livvy Posted August 16, 2010 Posted August 16, 2010 I abide by the idea that humidity is just rain without the self-confidence to be itself. Here in SC, we have plenty of rain with self-esteem issues. Quote
Spritzie Posted August 16, 2010 Posted August 16, 2010 Last year, I was in Florida during June. That's the most humidity I've been in. It wasn't very fun. I don't enjoy it. Quote
Wembly Posted August 16, 2010 Posted August 16, 2010 It was 60% humidity in the house today which is sadly on the lower end of what we've been getting. It was over 80% the other day. Ridiculous. My hair was seriously sticking straight up in the air, and thats not an exaggeration. Three inches of curly random fuzz hair ridiculousness. Quote
Spritzie Posted August 16, 2010 Posted August 16, 2010 My hair is super straight, so it's never effected by humidity. But I do have very easily effected by static hair, so when it's humid, my hair tends to be extra smooth. Quote
CAV of Gang Green Posted August 16, 2010 Posted August 16, 2010 I always crave a 7-11 Slurpee, even when it's 11 degrees outside. Someone here will now think I'm crazy. Quote
Spritzie Posted August 16, 2010 Posted August 16, 2010 Slurpees are good. I can't remember the last time I had one though. I haven't been to a 7-11 in years either. I always liked the Coca Cola one the best. Quote
Wembly Posted August 16, 2010 Posted August 16, 2010 Haha, I'm glad you chose 11 degrees. My dad makes his own "slurpies" aka putting his mountain dew in the freezer until its slushie and partially frozen because he loves them so much. Quote
Spritzie Posted August 16, 2010 Posted August 16, 2010 My sister and I used to make Crystal Light (Usually the Pink Lemonade) then put them into ice cube trays. But the flavor would usually end up on the bottom. Quote
CAV of Gang Green Posted August 16, 2010 Posted August 16, 2010 Haha, I'm glad you chose 11 degrees. My dad makes his own "slurpies" aka putting his mountain dew in the freezer until its slushie and partially frozen because he loves them so much. I do that a lot when I can't get to 7-11. I usually do it with blue rassberry Kool-Aid. And Mountain Dew is pure WIN! I love Slurpees. I can't live without them. When I'm near 7-11, I must get one. I recently got the WWE collectible Kofi Kingston cup. Quote
Spritzie Posted August 16, 2010 Posted August 16, 2010 I used to love Mountain Dew. Now I can't drink it. But I can't drink soda much anymore. And it has to be Dr. Pepper for me to be able to drink it. Dr Pepper and Cherry Dr. Pepper. Quote
Wembly Posted August 16, 2010 Posted August 16, 2010 I personally cannot handle carbonation. I find it truly revolting. Quote
Spritzie Posted August 16, 2010 Posted August 16, 2010 I like it. I think it adds a refreshment to it. But I drink sparkling water. Flavored... usually Watermelon Strawberry. It's like a pick-me-up at work. Quote
CAV of Gang Green Posted August 16, 2010 Posted August 16, 2010 Flavored water is awesome. And it's a much healthier choice than other drinks you'll find in stores. Quote
Superfly Posted August 16, 2010 Posted August 16, 2010 Hey CAV! Did you get my personal message? Quote
Unstream Posted August 16, 2010 Posted August 16, 2010 I'm not sure flavored water is actually better for you, since there's more sugar and less nutrients than natural fruit juice. I like carbonation, it's more refreshing like Spritzie said. But I don't like sparkling water. It has to be flavored, because the flavor of CO2 isn't good (at least in my opinion). Quote
CAV of Gang Green Posted August 16, 2010 Posted August 16, 2010 I know, but if you are at the store and you must deside between flavored water with about 7 grams of sugar, and Gatorade with 34 grams, the healthier choice is clear. I worded that incorrectly. I edited the post now. Hey CAV! Did you get my personal message? Yes I did, but I'm trying to make my reply sound as clear as possible. Quote
