Domino Posted July 10, 2010 Posted July 10, 2010 Haha. yeah...Usually that would help. I'm hoping that It will help improve my spanish. That would be great. Quote
:)Doc Posted July 10, 2010 Posted July 10, 2010 That'd be nice. I wanna take spanish in High School, but I dont know <_< Quote
Domino Posted July 10, 2010 Posted July 10, 2010 You should take a language. It's a lot of fun. I love Spanish. But, I'm out for now. Night guys! Quote
:)Doc Posted July 10, 2010 Posted July 10, 2010 G'night! And now Im all alone. In the strange and dark word of nothing-ness. Im scared! x_x Quote
-Ryan Posted July 10, 2010 Posted July 10, 2010 -Is here now- Anyone on? D: -Waits- @Conversation: I want to learn spanish but I imagine i'd forget everything after a year... xD Quote
Wembly Posted July 10, 2010 Posted July 10, 2010 That is the rather unfortunate thing about learning another language. If you don't use it, you loose it sadly. I haven't had a spanish class in 6 years and I think I've lost most of it by now, though admittedly I was never very good. Quote
Theresa2 Posted July 10, 2010 Posted July 10, 2010 I know spanish its a very preety langage and it helps to know more then two langages in the future esspecaliy when the spanish dont know how to talk engish you can be a translater Quote
Divya Bean Posted July 10, 2010 Posted July 10, 2010 I take Latin in school and it is really easy. It is mainly memorization and rules. Everything follows a rule so there are no tricks like in English. I used to take Spanish but I hated it because my teachers sucked. <_< Quote
-Ryan Posted July 10, 2010 Posted July 10, 2010 Hm, does n00b count as a language? If so I can speak that, with some difficulty. :P And, aw, that sucks. Sorry Divya. Dx Quote
livvy Posted July 10, 2010 Posted July 10, 2010 Y'all talked about so many things I'd like to comment on, but they're all like 10 pages back. =P To touch on some of them... I love peanuts and am not a big fan of cashews, but adore sunflower seeds. I like grape-flavored things, but not grapes. Weird, huh? Hey! I'm active! Don't forget me! I'm not in a trio. I'm in a minorly broken six-o. :P I want ice cream too! D= I'm learning French. =] Mostly because all the Spanish teachers I've had the opportunity to have were terrible. Quote
Divya Bean Posted July 10, 2010 Posted July 10, 2010 SS - I am just glad its over! I love my Latin teacher. She is soooo nice! Livvy - Lol! I read all of your replies and I remembered all of the topics and I was laughing so hard! Quote
-Ryan Posted July 10, 2010 Posted July 10, 2010 Congratz Divya. ^^ Lulz at Livvy. I only remember half these conversations. xD -Has bad memory- Quote
livvy Posted July 10, 2010 Posted July 10, 2010 Haha, I'm glad, Div! The Latin teacher at our school is really strict, but pretty nice. He's also got... unexpected taste in music. :guiltysmiley: Quote
Divya Bean Posted July 10, 2010 Posted July 10, 2010 Haha, I'm glad, Div! The Latin teacher at our school is really strict, but pretty nice. He's also got... unexpected taste in music. :guiltysmiley: I is scared now...what kind of music? :worried: And the Latin teacher in the HS is supposed to be really strict, but teachers generally like me so I am good. 0:) Quote
-Ryan Posted July 10, 2010 Posted July 10, 2010 My teachers hate me, well most of them. I give my math teacher such a hard time so he messed with my yearbook at the end when I asked him to sign it. I told him just to write whatever so now it says. "Just write whatever. No that's good. Okay, I get it. I think we're done. Ugh." -Mr. -Name removed for privacy- Learning latin sounds like it'd be awsome. :O Quote
Divya Bean Posted July 10, 2010 Posted July 10, 2010 It is awesome. b) Lol at your math teacher. Cool guy. Haha. Wait I had something to say and now I forget it... :S Quote
livvy Posted July 10, 2010 Posted July 10, 2010 I is scared now...what kind of music? :worried: And the Latin teacher in the HS is supposed to be really strict, but teachers generally like me so I am good. 0:) Well, it was Culture Week at school, and all the teachers were bringing in music from the language they taught. But there's really no Latin music, so he said "I could bring in some Romanian music. I've got this one song that's... oh no, I can't bring that in, it's got some words in English that are... Hm... well, I could bring... no, that's entirely inappropriate... How about Dragostea Din Tei?" Quote
-Ryan Posted July 10, 2010 Posted July 10, 2010 Lulz, I have so many awsome signatures in my yearbook. xD Think Divya, think! Quote
Divya Bean Posted July 10, 2010 Posted July 10, 2010 Lol livvy! Creepy...not THAT inappropriate! :laughingsmiley: Haha. Teachers are so weird. Ughhhhh what was it??? It was soooo important! Oh yeah. I remember: Hi! Quote
Noog Posted July 10, 2010 Posted July 10, 2010 lol. Dragostea din tei is amazing. I wish our school did Latin classes. Quote
Divya Bean Posted July 10, 2010 Posted July 10, 2010 Our MS has Spanish, French and Latin and our HS has those 3 plus Russian German and I think Italian... Quote
livvy Posted July 10, 2010 Posted July 10, 2010 NOOOOOG!! *tackles* Yeah, sorry, that was random. My school has French, Spanish, and Latin. And of course English. But nothing as cool as Russian or Italian... Quote
Noog Posted July 10, 2010 Posted July 10, 2010 Our MS has only french and our HS has Spanish, French, and German (gifted only). I was going to take German until I found out that the teacher is....horrible. She doesn't even speak correctly, and English is her 1st language. LIVVYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY!!!!!!! *gets tackled* Quote
Divya Bean Posted July 10, 2010 Posted July 10, 2010 Lol livvy! *also tackles noog* I dont know why I did that... Hahaha. Silly teachers. They are such language wannabes. Lol. Quote
