CAV of Gang Green Posted July 9, 2010 Posted July 9, 2010 WAS I SLEEPIN'? Yes. I was going to wake you up, but I chose not to. Ice cream is awesome. The only things better are Toxic Waste (super sour candy), Warheads (extreme super sour candy), Blue Rasberry coolatta from Dunkin Dounuts, and Slurpees from 7-11. Quote
Divya Bean Posted July 9, 2010 Posted July 9, 2010 CAV, you are a very sour person. Hahaha I just had to say that! You know I was kidding. :laughingsmiley: I also love sour candy but I have more of a sweet tooth. Quote
CAV of Gang Green Posted July 9, 2010 Posted July 9, 2010 I know what you mean. Forget the sweet tooth, I have a sour tooth!! Quote
Divya Bean Posted July 9, 2010 Posted July 9, 2010 Haha. I am going to DD soon, is the Blue Raspberry thing actually good? Or is it really artificial? Blue Raz things generally are... Quote
Wembly Posted July 9, 2010 Posted July 9, 2010 Bah! I have wanted a doughnut so bad for the past 3 days!!! I am officially jealous of you. Quote
Divya Bean Posted July 9, 2010 Posted July 9, 2010 Heh heh, there is a Dunkin Donuts about 3 blocks from my house, along with a video game store, a Target, and a 7-11. What more could I need? :laughingsmiley: Quote
Wembly Posted July 9, 2010 Posted July 9, 2010 Wow that would be very handy. I guess thats the price that I pay for living at the beach. I have to drive 15 minutes or more to get to stores but I walk 2 blocks to the beach. Quote
Divya Bean Posted July 9, 2010 Posted July 9, 2010 Ooooh you live at the beach! b) I is jealous! I love the beach, but we dont go very often because it is about 2 hours away. :( Quote
Wembly Posted July 9, 2010 Posted July 9, 2010 Yeah, I love it. THe only downfall is that a billion other people come here and crowd the streets and think that they are awesome and shouldn't have to pay attention/the world revolves around them. False people especially if you are a bicycle, you do not belong on the road! Get on the shoulder or the sidewalk, you are not a car! *end rant* Quote
Divya Bean Posted July 9, 2010 Posted July 9, 2010 Awwwww its ok! I know what you mean though. Whenever I visit the beach, there are so many people! It must be so annoying for someone who actually LIVES there! Do you live there in the winter too? Most of my friends have "summer houses" at the beach. Quote
Wembly Posted July 9, 2010 Posted July 9, 2010 Yeah, we live here year round which makes the sudden influx of people from july to september all the more annoying. It is indeed a joyous day when all the people leave and it is once again peaceful in the streets. Quote
Divya Bean Posted July 9, 2010 Posted July 9, 2010 Haha it must be nice leaving at the beach all the time. Do you go to the beach in the winter? Quote
Wembly Posted July 9, 2010 Posted July 9, 2010 Yeah, its really awesome walking along the beach in the winter. No ones around and its quiet and cold and wonderful. Its a great place to meditate or pray or talk to god or collect your thoughts or what have you. Quote
Divya Bean Posted July 9, 2010 Posted July 9, 2010 That is so cool! I wanna do that. But of course, my parents wont take me in the winter. <_< Does it snow on the beach? Sorry for my questions but I am just curious about winter beaches. :) Quote
Wembly Posted July 9, 2010 Posted July 9, 2010 Yeah. It doesn't snow all that often but every once in a while. There was a lot of snow on the beach this past winter because of all the blizzards. I'll go look for some pictures and post them. Quote
Divya Bean Posted July 9, 2010 Posted July 9, 2010 That is so cool! You could go sledding on the beach! Whoa! :laughingsmiley: Quote
Wembly Posted July 9, 2010 Posted July 9, 2010 Haha, yeah we have gone sledding on the beach before. Its pretty nifty. The pictures are in the spoiler because they're kind of large. Yay for snowy beach pictures! Quote
Divya Bean Posted July 9, 2010 Posted July 9, 2010 :woot: Those are so pretty! I want to go to a snowy beach so badly! It looks sooooo cool! Quote
Wembly Posted July 9, 2010 Posted July 9, 2010 If you ever get the chance I would highly recommend it. Or even just visiting the beach in the off season. Its definitely worth a visit. Quote
Divya Bean Posted July 9, 2010 Posted July 9, 2010 I hope I can...maybe I will get my friend to take me! She has a house down at the shore. What shore are you at? Quote
Wembly Posted July 9, 2010 Posted July 9, 2010 Seaside, where that show the jersey shore is filmed :sick01: sickening yet sadly so true. Quote
Divya Bean Posted July 9, 2010 Posted July 9, 2010 Ohhh you live on the Jersey Shore. I dont really make fun of Jersey people because of the shore, but I do watch it. I usually visit Margate. Quote
Wembly Posted July 9, 2010 Posted July 9, 2010 The problem with that show is that they should have more clearly asserted that the people on the show do not live at the beach year round. They are mostly from new york and long island and whatnot and come here to be ridiculous. I look and act nothing like them. I see them and make fun of them just as much as everyone else does, maybe even more  And side note the first way to tell if people are from here is that we call it the beach. We always say we're going to the beach never the "shore". Big tourist tip off. Quote
CAV of Gang Green Posted July 9, 2010 Posted July 9, 2010 I visit Coney Island time to time. This includes the rides, the aquarium, and the beach. I hate Jersey Shore. They make fun of New Yorkers. Quote
Divya Bean Posted July 9, 2010 Posted July 9, 2010 I used to call it the beach, but then all of my friends started calling it the shore. I felt weird saying the beach and they were like, "What? Ohhh you mean THE SHORE!" :rolleyes_anim: I've never been to Coney Island. Whats it like? Quote
