Divya Bean Posted June 27, 2010 Posted June 27, 2010 Really?! Middle schools?? What is the world coming too?? :laughingsmiley: Mine should have it. <_< EDIT: livvy I lived in Columbia, but only for about a year. My daddy was their for business or something. Quote
Anisha Posted June 27, 2010 Posted June 27, 2010 We have 500 people in our grade. And I get pretty lost in our corridors, hehe. But still, 1k students in a grade = total disaster. Quote
Spritzie Posted June 27, 2010 Posted June 27, 2010 Yeah, AP counts as a college credit if you get a certain score on the AP exam at the end. (3 or above.) I've taken a bunch of APs, so I've got the whole spiel pretty much memorized. :laughingsmiley: I stayed clear of AP classes. I stuck with Honors. My sister was the super-brain though. Always was. Divya Bean Posted June 27, 2010 Posted June 27, 2010 I just realized that we are talking about school in the summer! Ahh! Anyway, I have a year until HS, plenty of time. Quote

Spritzie Posted June 27, 2010 Posted June 27, 2010 I will not miss school at all. Adult life isn't all fun, but I'd take it over school any day. Except the bills. Those are the worst. :laughingsmiley: Quote
Divya Bean Posted June 27, 2010 Posted June 27, 2010 Hahahaha Spritzie. And Anisha, summer vacation is over??? How long was yours? Quote
Anisha Posted June 27, 2010 Posted June 27, 2010 Hahahaha Spritzie. And Anisha, summer vacation is over??? How long was yours? Hmmn, let me see. One and a half month, I guess. :laughingsmiley: Pretty unfair, but ... Goa is like that. Super selfish when it comes to holidays. <_< Quote
Divya Bean Posted June 27, 2010 Posted June 27, 2010 Oooohhhh 1 1/2. That sucks. I can feel your pain when they cut down our Winter/Spring breaks to 1 week instead of 2. But it is ok because our summer vacation is 3 months. Quote
livvy Posted June 27, 2010 Posted June 27, 2010 Haha, cool. I live in a small town right outside of Columbia. ^_^ We still have quite a while left in our summer vacation. So y'all get to talk to me for about another month! Quote
-Ryan Posted June 27, 2010 Posted June 27, 2010 Woah. Short summer. I've got like 2 months left in mine. b) Quote

I live in a small town right outside of Columbia. ^_^ We still have quite a while left in our summer vacation. So y'all get to talk to me for about another month! Yay! :laughingsmiley: I will get to see more Livvy-ness, and blue-ness too! Quote
Spritzie Posted June 27, 2010 Posted June 27, 2010 When I was in grade school, we got nearly a month for winter break. Like 3 or so weeks. Quote
Anisha Posted June 27, 2010 Posted June 27, 2010 When I was in grade school, we got nearly a month for winter break. Like 3 or so weeks. A month? For winter breaks?! o_O Wow. It's not much cold here, so ... we barely get any holiday. 3 to 6 days, maybe? Quote
-Ryan Posted June 27, 2010 Posted June 27, 2010 A month? :O Lucky, we didn't even get a full two weeks here. :P Quote
livvy Posted June 27, 2010 Posted June 27, 2010 More Livvy-ness? Hehe. ^_^ I think we get like... a week and a half or something? Maybe two? It's our longest break. We also get a week for spring break. Quote

We also get a week for spring break. Yeah, I add 'ish' and 'ness' in every word. Fun! P.S. Anisha-ness sounds odd. o_O And only 2 weeks? That unfair. The longest break we have is summer, of course. Quote
livvy Posted June 27, 2010 Posted June 27, 2010 Oh. I didn't even think about summer. :rolleyes_anim: Quote
Anisha Posted June 27, 2010 Posted June 27, 2010 Summers are so enjoyable, when you have beaches near you house. But ... I hate sunburns. <_< Quote
livvy Posted June 27, 2010 Posted June 27, 2010 Oho, sunburns. I have much experience with those. I once got sunburned so badly that I couldn't even wear clothes. And this was during the school year, so I had to email my teachers telling them I wouldn't be in class because I was out with... sunburn. They did not appreciate that. Quote
-Ryan Posted June 27, 2010 Posted June 27, 2010 Lulz, what did they reply with, or say when you got back? :P I haven't had a sunburn since last summer. Yay? xD Quote

And this was during the school year, so I had to email my teachers telling them I wouldn't be in class because I was out with... sunburn. They did not appreciate that. :laughingsmiley: I've gotten bad sunburns during the school year, where I had to wear the shirt I got burned in, which was against school rules (spaghetti strap tank tops weren't allowed) so I'd have to wear the softest fleece hoodie I had over it. The worst I ever got burned though, was 2nd degree burns a couple years ago, when I was on a cruise. My skin is just very very fair. Quote
Anisha Posted June 27, 2010 Posted June 27, 2010 Sunburns are the most horrible thing is this world. I look like a tomato when I have them. <_< And ... that was a totally awesome excuse, not to go to school. I might use it. :O Quote
-Ryan Posted June 27, 2010 Posted June 27, 2010 -Tries to imagine Anisha looking like a tomato- That must suck. Quote
Rising Star Posted June 27, 2010 Posted June 27, 2010 XD It's been like 3 pages since I lasted posted >> Dang. That's what I get for taking a nap, which ended up having me sleeping all day. My summers are forever now, since I just finished high school. But when I had school, we had 2 months off, but whenever we had snow days, they would make us go back. Our Winter Breaks were 2 weeks.
