-Ryan Posted June 10, 2010 Posted June 10, 2010 Yeah, that or a bird. o.o I saw it in science class. Quote
Wembly Posted June 10, 2010 Posted June 10, 2010 Nifty. I've actually never had an astronomy class in my life and we never did anything other than name the planets and such in science classes. I took more physics classes instead. Quote
CAV of Gang Green Posted June 10, 2010 Posted June 10, 2010 Uranus, Neptune, Earth, Pluto, Mars, Jupiter, Venus. That's it... Here's the correct awnser in order. The ones that are in bold are dwarf planets. Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, Ceres, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, Pluto, Haumea, Makemake, Eris Quote
Anisha Posted June 10, 2010 Posted June 10, 2010 Nifty. I've actually never had an astronomy class in my life and we never did anything other than name the planets and such in science classes. I took more physics classes instead. Me too. I like physics. Though they are not my favorite subjects. But I still enjoy it. ^_^ Orions belt, Scorpius, Big dipper, little dipper, and then that one that looks like a duck. Duck? You are creeping me out, Ryan. :laughingsmiley: Here's the correct awnser in order. The ones that are in bold are dwarf planets. Ruto Posted June 10, 2010 Posted June 10, 2010 *puts on glasses* Back in my day, we didn't have dwarf planets. All planets were universally accepted for what they were. Then those scientists had to discriminate against Pluto--they couldn't accept it as a real planet, no, they had to go and call it a dwarf planet. Poor, poor Pluto. Quote

I know, but dwarf planets are considered planets to a certain degree. Yes, poor Pluto, but now that it's a dwarf planet, it's now the 10th planet (Ceres is in the Astroid belt between Mars and Jupiter, therfore making it closer to the Sun than Pluto). Quote

Then those scientists had to discriminate against Pluto--they couldn't accept it as a real planet, no, they had to go and call it a dwarf planet. Poor, poor Pluto. Haha, true that. I've been kind of tempted to get one of those shirts that says either "When I was your age, Pluto was a planet" or "It's okay Pluto, I'm not a planet either" Quote
CAV of Gang Green Posted June 10, 2010 Posted June 10, 2010 "It's okay Pluto, I'm not a planet either" I know that shirt. Some girl was wearing one while I was walking down the street. Quote
-Ryan Posted June 10, 2010 Posted June 10, 2010 Planet racism is really becoming a problem lately. And good, Anisha. Btw, that's an epic shirt and I want one. Quote
CAV of Gang Green Posted June 10, 2010 Posted June 10, 2010 Nah. I always figured those "It's ok, I'm not a planet either" kinda shirts were for females. Male shirts would say "HAHA! Pluto's not a planet! You suck!" I wouldn't get that shirt either. Quote
-Ryan Posted June 10, 2010 Posted June 10, 2010 Didn't we discuss this yesterday? And hey, a joke is a joke, I don't see why it should be female specific... Quote

-Ryan Posted June 10, 2010 Posted June 10, 2010 Lulz, I have an urge to take that to the quotes thread. xD Quote
Anisha Posted June 10, 2010 Posted June 10, 2010 I am getting a little bored. Do you guys have anything interesting to talk about? Quote
-Ryan Posted June 10, 2010 Posted June 10, 2010 Same. I just found my T-shirt that says "I have multiple Personalities disorder, an none of them like you." but other than that I have nothing interesting to say. Quote
Wembly Posted June 10, 2010 Posted June 10, 2010 Well, I'm currently working on my Yooyu comic and its looking so much cool now that its almost done being colored. Anybody else draw anything else cool lately or ever? Quote

But don't wear it whenever you meet me. :laughingsmiley: Well, I'm currently working on my Yooyu comic and its looking so much cool now that its almost done being colored. Anybody else draw anything else cool lately or ever? Really? I love comics. I would love to see yours. Tell me when they are completed, okay? And by the way, how far are you to the end. To be honest, I am a bad bad bad bad painter. I can't even hold my pencil properly. Though my handwriting is readable. :laughingsmiley: Quote
-Ryan Posted June 10, 2010 Posted June 10, 2010 Oh yeah, that comic is funny, I saw it like 2 weeks ago. xD And just for that i'm gong to come meet you tomorrow and i'm going to wear that shirt. And possibly multi-colored socks cause that's just plain awsome. xD Quote
Wembly Posted June 10, 2010 Posted June 10, 2010 Multi colored as in brightly colored or as in two different socks because I admit I don't ever wear matching socks and I still insist I was doing that before it was "cool". Quote
-Ryan Posted June 10, 2010 Posted June 10, 2010 Both. One with RI colors and the other with KI and DCish colors. Quote
Wembly Posted June 10, 2010 Posted June 10, 2010 Nice. I aprove. Not that you need my approval though, none the less... Quote
-Ryan Posted June 10, 2010 Posted June 10, 2010 No. I do need your approval before I can do anything involving RI. Quote

I can't believe I am wearing something of my enemy team. :laughingsmiley: Multi colored as in brightly colored or as in two different socks because I admit I don't ever wear matching socks and I still insist I was doing that before it was "cool". I wear matching socks. Actually, my dressing style is quite simple. And I agree, I am a geek when it comes to fashion. Quote
