livvy Posted January 1, 2010 Share Posted January 1, 2010 If you cut the tail off a rattle snake, it would no longer be able to rattle. But as it stands, snakes don't measurably have tails. At some point we assume the body becomes the tail, but there is no defined tail. Therefore, depending on where you cut it, the effects would differ. But regardless, you'd have a bloody snake.
